Always thought conference championship games do nothing but hurt you. Prime example: Auburn 2017. Playoff bound, beat UGA and Bama when they were #1. Pointless conference championship game against UGA (we already beaten) and lose and our reward watching UGA vs Bama play for it all.

How can they leave UGA out? Back-to-Back titles, undefeated season (29 straight wins) only loss is by 3pts to #8 team in Conference title game and you're going to drop them out of it and prevent a shot at a three peat? That's just crazy honestly. As I said previous, UGA should be in regardless. And it pains me to say that cause I hate UGA lol. Bama should be out regardless of winning. Texas killed their hopes. I imagine the SEC champ will be left out first time and it will cue the "see this is why expanding to 12 teams" blah blah stories. If FSU loses, Texas would be or should be in over Bama.
