  1. Depends who’s on the 27 man roster as Drabick, Hall and Wade aren’t. Probably Fuller, Granzow, Bosse, Hill, Isbell or younger Carlson I’m fine with.
  2. Foster’s been underrated this season. Struggled in non conference play beginning of the year and hit .309/.405/.574 in SEC play this year.. He’s gonna be awesome next year.
  3. Well last time we scored double digits runs in the first inning of a postseason game, we made it to Omaha that year. Good signs so far. Granted the previous game was the game that decided who went to Omaha though.
  4. Good news is FSU had to use their Ace Messick and three top relievers in Game 1 though.
  5. Well we were on the hosting bubble in 2018 and we wound up being the 2 seed for the 16th seed's regional in NCSU, and got set up with the 1 seed Florida in the super. Just because you're one of the twos that was on the hosting bubble doesn't mean you'll get a better draw if you advance out of your regional as the two seed. I'd rather host in that scenario over that.
  6. Tyler Drabick is out for the year. But he wasn't really a contributor to the team. Also Garrett Wade too.
  7. I just want to say that if the season had stopped around the MTSU/Ole Miss Series like the 2020 season, not many of us would have expected to host and a good bit expected us to not make a regional. Not calling anyone out in particular because I didn't expect us to host after those two series either and thought making a regional would be tough work as well. Shows how resilient our team has been this year.
  8. https://twitter.com/ty_drabs/status/1529920573819736121?t=UapwhjPefLp2vceQ08liSw&s=19 Drabick's career has come to an end sadly. I know I've given him a lot of grief over this year but I wish him the best in his future health and job wise.
  9. MLB.Com has released the top 200 draft prospects. Recruits: Irish-120, Crotchfelt-160, Stanfield-180, Murphy-194 No Auburn players on the list
  10. Well Keith Law of the Athletic posted another MLB mock draft. He has Jacob Berry of LSU going first to the Baltimore Orioles given their track record of going for underslot deals with the first round pick. Basically they used this strategy to offer their 1 pick in 2019, Adley Rutschmann, an underslot deal and give an overslot deal to an Auburn recruit, Gunnar Henderson. Basically this can decrease the odds we may get all the HS recruits to Auburn, particularly Irish. Berry wasn't seen as a 1 overall pick, but more of a top 10 pick, but an underslot deal that saves the Orioles 3-4 million dollars can gets quite a few high school prospects to not go to college. But apparently rumor is the Orioles tried to leverage more savings with Berry's finger injury and things hit a snag. Just something to keep an eye for.

  12. Former coaches. 5/7 of the Bama staff are former Auburn baseball employees.
  13. Want to shout out Isbell and Sheehan for doing well recently. As we saw with Horn in 2019, even if you're cleared, it still takes time to recover from TJ and I will wait a couple months post clearing to see how these guys are doing in the season from recovering from partial TJ
  14. Well can't say it's the worst bunt call from Auburn I've ever seen. I've seen them ask Conor and Steven to bunt. At least Brody has been a decent bunter.
  15. We've got to work the counts better considering Bama will get to our bullpen early. Edit: We went to our bullpen earlier than expected...
  16. Hopefully Bright gets drafted this year.
  17. Judd and Will Holland were great at that kind of bunt. Been a while since I've seen one done well.
  18. The Athletic's Keith Law has ranked Ike Irish 53 on his top 100 board and Sonny Dichiara at 40. Also thinks Zach Crotchfelt could be a 4th rounder if he wants to sign, which is a big if.
  19. I feel like it's an issue to the regular TV networks trying to appeal to the casual audience, not just SEC network sadly. Interviewing the potential first round draft pick or controversial figure in college baseball falls under that. If it wasn't for my free trial of Apple TV, I wouldn't watch their MLB games because of their broadcasting. That being said, I'm glad Costas is back again doing MLB games, as he's a guy who is definitely invested in the sport.
