The southern border is wide open with very little enforcement but there is a strong enforcement of Cuban illegal immigrants (they generally are conservative). AU's current OL has 4 starters that have basically started together now being a 3rd year and playing as well as they can as a unit but are extremely lacking in talent, AU's OL is clearly in the lower half of the SEC. Unless the wheels fall for W/L's, I fully expect Harsin to sign the most talented OL compared to pre-Gus's era

He is now into his 4th year of college football, this is his ceiling. He has now had multiple QB coaches, hasn't improved and still make the exact same mistakes.

Auburn didn't sabotage the 2023 recruiting or the future, at least one booster or several boosters did with their attempted coup and vicious untrue rumors. The university President and AD didn't help because they should have immediately traced down the origin of the rumors after confirming they weren't true, starting with the Auburn website writer that was 100% their conduit and mouthpiece. The University President/AD should have dissociated the booster/s from the program for life and band the writer from campus. By not doing this, they most likely sealed Harsin future and will set back AU football for several years. Agree with assessment of must win games now. Harsin's future will be known at the end of the PSU game. He MUST win that game and at least 8 games to turn around this train wreck of a coming recruiting class, they both must happen. If AU isn't 3-0 the morning after PSU game, it will be common knowledge AU is looking for a new coach. If not 3-0, the only question is will be if he's fired before or after season. I fully expect AU to be looking for a new coach within the next 6 months and it's a shame Harsin never got a real chance!

I would speculate the lack of NIL from boosters is another way of not supporting Harsin, pouting from not originally getting "their man", thus hurting AU in the long run!

OL: "Settling and finding bodies" means AU is still struggling and falling behind! If this team doesn't win NOW to greatly help recruiting THIS year, AU will be coach hunting again in less than 6 months and the program will be set back another 2 years. I really want Harsin to succeed but we are clearly treading in the wrong direction, unimpressive coaching hires this past off season and booster undermining is all a recipe for disaster.

The list is very telling of how little interest there is in AU! No in-state high ranked prospects, not already committed.

AU is absolutely getting killed on the recruiting trail. Again, their are 7 highly nationally ranked DL in the state of Alabama, Auburn may not sign ONE! If AU drops the PSU game (minor bowl at best in this scenario), I will be shocked if Harsin finishes the year coupled with the poor recruiting class. It's clear AU is now looking at plan "B" or "C" OT's. I really hoped Harsin was the disciplinarian and consistent coach AU needed but I don't think he has ever really gained traction from the booster undermining!
