What happened depends on which team he is coaching. When he was at A&M he was an awful person. Now that he's here, he is a stand-up guy. That's the way it works in the college football world.
A good coach is born, not made. If he's good he is ready. Going to a smaller job won't make him ready. It will only reveal if he was ready to begin with.
