    Freeze and Caddy (and others) have been traveling non-stop on the recruiting trail for a few days now, and I imagine they're exhausted. But I sure am anxious to hear the OC and DC hires. And confirmation of the WR Heard hire. He's a good one.

    I can't refute your stance, and probably wouldn't if I thought I could. The man has made very bad mistakes, and may be a total snake oil salesman for all I know. But he's our coach now, and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, until and unless he shows that he doesn't deserve it. I can be gullible at times...

    A few years from now, Freeze will have proven himself a changed man and a great football coach for AU. I made mistakes when I was young too. More than I'd like to admit. I'm glad I changed, and that I'm not still being judged for my former bad behavior.

    I don't think I'm selling him short. He did a good job. But his elevation in title was ceremonial. A pat on the back for a job well done in an interim role. A very big "thank you". And also sort of "throwing a bone" to the misguided people who thought Caddy was ready for a HC job at AU.

    Prolly not much. A title, a figure head. Guess he would take over if Hugh gets tossed from a game. But it's good that AU and Freeze honored him with the title change.

    Welcome HC Hugh Freeze!!! There are plenty of us who won't judge your past. You deserve another chance, and hope you will give it the credence it deserves. Nick Saban begged the SEC to allow him to hire Freeze, but the SEC wouldn't allow it at that time. Welcome CHF!!!
