What is Harsin's philosophy on practice (1's vs 1's ; 2's vs 2's; etc...)? I will be interested to see the QB pecking order entering practice. Should give insight into CBH & CAD preconceived QB grades. wde

Don't disagree at all Loof. I was just wondering if the guarantee 4 year scholarship at AU changes the thought process of a student athlete who sees the value of their education vs their self-evaluated limited athletic limitations. Also, does it hinder the coaching staff in offering a scholarship to a perceived fringe HS player just because you have one (some) available. wde

I agree cbo. Another form of processing? In AU's case, our scholarships are for 4 years (not every year renewable scholarships) which makes our processing a little more problematic than for some other schools. Please let me know if this is incorrect and I will stand corrected. wde

I think they said similar about Patrick Mahomes coming out of HS. Rivals 3*. Rated 5.7. (3 offers: Texas Tech, Rice, Houston). Not comparing the 2. Just saying. wde

A lot of stuff in there ANT. But breaking it down: Would you rather have: 1) a great coach that is a good recuriter or 2) a great recruiter that is a good coach? Personally, I'd rather have the best of both worlds, but if pressed, I'd go for option #2. (example UGA). wde

JMHO. I truly believe that I/we remember our victories over Alabama & Georgia more than they remember their vctories over us. Beating those 2 schools means more to me than beating anybody else. I just don't think they (especially UA) think in those terms and I like it when their worst nightmare is their loses to us. wde

Hopefully, Jones sticks with AU. I will also keep an eye on Story. wde

Your probably right (but I hope not). I view DD as the maybe but haven't seen him play, so I don't know. Maybe spring game will shed some light, but it usually doesn't. Need a fly on the wall for spring practice. Does anyone know how much practice coverage CBH is going to allow this spring? TIA wde

Without any more additions to the QB room, does this mean that AU will not have any QBs transfer out after spring? How many capable starters does CBH see in this group of 4? Just asking. I personally see 2 and 1 maybe. wde
