  1. Yes I do know who was in the portal because I saw it every day, watched film on, and made notes and recommendations to coaches for a D1 football program. Im not saying the bad Oline is all Harsin's fault, just that he hasn't done anything to shore up the biggest deficiency on the roster. There is no negative on taking a few OL even if they aren't the world beaters.
  2. Gus's failure on OL doesnt have baring on the current staffs ongoing lack of OL
  3. With the new portal and NIL, I don't see coaches getting any more than 3 years to make serious strides. New HCs at established programs have ways to immediately fill gaps that didn't exist just a few years ago. If by the end of year 2 a coach isn't making major improvements, whether it be W/L, filling team needs, upgrading recruiting, etc. if year 3 isn't a banger, they're out.
  4. Ref calls of the magnitude of these don't even out. They directly and indisputably changed the outcome of the game. I'll challenge you to find other calls against us that were if this magnitude and severity for directly choosing the outcome.
  5. Fixing, or at least attempting to fix, the OL does more to help the team than any RB,WR, or QB. Even if the new OL injections didn't make us the best OL in the SEC, it's couldn't get worse.
  6. It seems TJ getting reps has been a waste.
  7. What were seeing here doesn't show Ash>>>Holden maybe 1 > and that may be only from a difference in experience.
  8. A QB throwing bombs isn't a game manager. We've had to use that style because for 3 years we haven't been able to stop a HS pass rush. Being speedy and taking the top off doesn't work when you don't have a QB who can make the throw and a line that can block. Plus without quality possession and intermediate short passing we can't just run deep.
  9. I disagree and tend to think the coaches will take less playbook knowledge and superior athletics over the big pile of meh that tj is
  10. Can't be a game manager when no one else around you makes plays. With a line which cannot run block for tank and SEC B team recievers, a playmaker is required.
  11. Ashford has shown much more as a passer. Same yards, same completions, less incomplete and bad throws.
  12. Picking up TJ was a move of desperation for a backup and he has this far proven he will never be the guy.
  13. Some did such as the loss of 3 coordinators, multiple big name transfers, etc. While the truth about much of what happened will be a mystery, the reflection a year from now after another lackluster season will be an off-season of strife. If the new Pres wants his own AD and Greene is out, Harsin doesn't survive a repeat of 2021.
  14. While I am not, nor have I ever been a fan of Harsin, I've yet to advocate for his finiring after year one or 2 barring factual cause. However, after how last year ended, with the off-season shenanigans, another year with a loss in a meaningless, who cares bowl will spell the end of his time here.
  15. I don't think reaching a bowl is good enough. He needs a win. Only exception I can see is if he pulls something like a sugar bowl out his ass.
  16. There is a difference between being positive and outright unrealistic. Thinking harsin is moving in the correct direction or that recruiting and coaching hires looks good is one thing. Pulling a 10 won season out of 'team chemistry' or some other sunshine pump is just insane.
  17. Game managers don't work when they don't have solid teams surrounding them. This team has to have a playmaker at QB to hit a winning season.
  18. We may not have lost all Americans but it says something that those meh to decent players were still the best option at years end. While nothing says we can't do better than Nix, but ATM nothing indicates we'll have even equal levels of productivity. Talking down on Hudson when he would still be the best reciever on staff doesn't help you case. There aren't 3 or 4 guys in the WR room who are better than Hudson. That's simply poppycock. There is nothing to indicate at current any player needing replaced from last year is being replaced by superior talent.
  19. Doesn't matter what harsin wants when his team is bottom half of the SEC at most positions with major deficiencies. We saw last year, with better O talent than this year, how important a magician rabbit from a hat QB is. Bo messed up a lot but he more importantly created when team deficiencies pilled up. This is why I think the Oregon kid ends up starting.
  20. As much as Auburn has been the golden child of underdog and miracle success stories, it'll take the lightening in a bottle of a new QB Nam Cewton or Mick Narshal to make this team have any chance of being surprising. There isn't a superstar on the team who can 1v21 when needed.
  21. Picking up a cyber security minor and before now I never realized how s***ty people were at securing their information.
  22. Lucky. My job was engineer, production manager, Dept lead, designer, CNC programmer, QC and supervisor for all production related work. So many hats, i rarely got to do real design work outside of a weekly new idea meeting with the owner. Oh and I was paid well below market so all in all, A++ definitely recommend.
  23. Na, can't do human med. My wife is a veterinarian so can't one up her to be a real doctor 😅 Big in patent law also. Which is understandable after having to work with one on the application for a design i did with my previous employer.
  24. From engineer to prepping for law school 😅
