Now that Rogers is going to the NFL we could really use a good DL named Smith. And we could still use at least one more DB, perhaps one named Mitchell.

The greater "What if" in my opinion is what would have happened if Sharife Cooper would have stayed another year to play with Jabari & Kessler. How far would have AU made it then? And would Sharife have landed in a better spot in the NBA? Would Thor have even played much if he had been on a team with Jabari, JWill and Flan? I mean, look at this scholly dist. chart. Not sure how Purifoy still is on the list, but that's some amazing top end talent if those full senior and junior classes could have all played together.

I still don't know if Pearl didn't know how to get the most out of Flan as a SG/SF with so many options on the team? if Flan wasn't back to being fully healthy? Or if Flan didn't want to be a role player? But a fresh start was probably the best thing for him. I really liked Flan, will always root for him, and really hope he can make it to the NBA. I was shocked that he improved so much from his recruit rank through his Freshman and Soph years to the point where he was going in the 2nd round of some mock drafts pre-injury. He was playing like an Okoro-lite after Okoro left. Regardless, I think our team is better than Ole Miss and that we'll prove it on the court.

I gotta wish list. Mostly OL, DL & CB including several freshmen that almost picked us last year.

I love this team. They remembered last year and kept landing haymakers until the end against Arkansas. Then what a scrappy win against T A&M. A younger team would probably have lost that one, but our defense, bench and free throw shooting were very good down the stretch. Kenpom and Bilas had us top 10 even before the A&M win. I know there will be ups and downs with this team, but after the App State loss, they've been on a mission. I'm hoping for a top 3 SEC finish and a loss in one of the last 2 SEC games to get them laser focused for tourney play.

Now CBP knows how to recruit in the Steph Curry age of longball! Leaking that video with 2 high school recruits and 2 transfers. Genius!

2010 is on another level given Cam Newton was in that class. Also, I don't remember 2017 having 3 247 5-stars (only 1 in the composite); TD and Stidham must have been given a boost on 247 at the very end.
