  1. Any of ya’ll attend? If so I’d like to hear more about this activist group.
  2. I agree with you. Not a good look for the campaign. LA Times article indicates other 3rd party candidates could be a factor. Column: Not just RFK Jr. Biden faces danger from 3rd-party candidates - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com)
  3. A Kennedy campaign official told Newsweek: "This was not a campaign event. Palma was speaking as a private citizen and her statements in no way reflect the strategy of the Kennedy campaign, which is to win the White House with votes from former Trump and Biden supporters alike."

  5. RFK Jr. suggests Biden is ‘much worse threat to democracy’ than Trump, citing social media case https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/rfk-jr-suggests-biden-worse-threat-democracy-trump/story?id=108758681
  6. I know Dems love to brand most Republicans with the MAGA tag, that is not the case however with respect to the COVID pandemic and vaccinations. I took the initial vaccination and two boosters and my 11 year old son was also vaccinated. At the time our government was mandating vaccination for all military personnel and were strongly advocating and using various methods to persuade government employees to be vaccinated. Many government personnel felt they had no choice in the matter. Looking back and knowing what we know now about COVID I am not sure if I would have my 11 year old vaccinated and or if I would have taken any boosters. Any future vaccination programs will be colored by the way our government handled the COVID vaccination program and the right to choose to be vaccinated is on a lot of people’s minds.

  10. Thinking about the voters that keep a picture of JFK in their homes and normally vote for the Democratic nominee seeing the Kennedy name on the ballot and selecting it for President in November has to tighten some jaws within the Democratic Party.
  11. Some Democrats think otherwise... https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/rfks-sister-rory-concerned-presidential-campaign-trump-biden/story?id=108723288 Democrats sound alarm on RFK Jr. and new running mate, Shanahan - ABC News (go.com)

  15. To add to the discussion about the Christian faith and medical care the three oldest hospitals in the United States were each started by Christians, and each remains a leader in the innovation of modern healthcare practices: - Pennsylvania Hospital — founded in 1751 by Quaker Christian Dr. Thomas Bond and Benjamin Franklin. Pennsylvania Hospital is a top ranked hospital. - New York–Presbyterian Hospital — founded in 1771 by Episcopal Christian Samuel Bard; ranked number ten in the nation today. (Note: Founder Samuel Bard established an Episcopal church even while he led some of the earliest medical schools in the history of the United States.) - Massachusetts General Hospital — founded in 1811 by Rev. John Bartlett, who was motivated by Christian charity for the poor; another top ranked hospital.
