road SEC games are not easy

Nate is pretty good v. Bruce ... I think it will be a crazy environment & we won't get any calls ... will be a tough one tonight in Tuscaloosa

Maryland has about 15 players out including several starters … poor coaching “effort” by the AU staff been saying it all year & have gotten roasted but Thorne is not an SEC level QB … the O line isn’t very good but PT is not the answer hoping that the recruiting will help going coward but I see a lot of holes with preparation & game planning

looks like a good class with an excellent WR haul … with that said needed more on the O line IMO … maybe the portal will deliver

I’ve been negative about PT but will admit that we haven’t had an above average O line in probably a decade … over the past 10 years we’ve been average or quite frankly bellow … maybe with some blocking he’ll be better next year

IMO in the modern college game to be in contention (especially in the SEC) a team needs … at least three very good D lineman, at least four very good O lineman, a quality QB & probably the most important two exceptional CB’s … I’d look at my pay roll (NIL) & adjust accordingly … of course other positions are important BUT if you have these positions locked in I think you can be competitive at a high level

ZERO excitement if PT is the QB next year

I had zero expectations for this game so keep that in mind while reading the comments below Players showed some fight tonight throughout the game … couldve laid down but I saw solid effort most of the game had every, and I mean EVERY, chance to win … the bama Center might not have made it back to the bus had they not won … BUT … nobody steps on their own dick like the AU program the play calling inside the 10 on the last FG drive was expectedly horrendous … got to step on their throats when given the opportunity just an absolutely moronic attempt to field the punt late in the 4th … I hate calling out players but when it’s deserved it’s deserved with that said on the last play you have to have “player instincts” … don’t care if a coach tells you to just stand up & don’t let the QB by you as a player you have to try to crate some havoc … it was 4th & forever … even if he starts to run you’ve got a good shot at getting him on the ground … terrible coaching but can’t lay all the blame on coaches for that play WR definitely got away with PI on the TD play … I wonder if an AU WR would’ve gotten away with that push? That’s a rhetorical question btw

beating Auburn is just a formality … beating Georgia will get them into the CFP … you’ve got it backwards

Bama will shut it down after getting up by 21 or so … hate to say it but we’re just a place holder in the way to more important contests

I posted a while back that AU fans will love Thorne against teams like Samford, Vandy & a beat down Arkansas but would hate him against real competition … will stand by that … he’ll probably look like Mahomes v. NMSU … he’ll be Waldo v. bama
