  1. The Nix family isn't soft. Outside criticism isn't new to them. I don't buy it for a second that some Auburn fans being vile is an actual factor to Bo. IF he transfers, it'll be because he thinks the surrounding offensive cast will be below average, again. Come on man. ITT you went from reasonable to this?
  2. Be nice to have a dominating offensive line. There's a few in college football every year and they typically lead their teams' to championships or at least the playoffs.
  3. IIRC there's been rule changes since Byrum left that made that style onsides kick harder to execute, especially when the opponent is expecting it.
  4. THAT and it was a poorly designed and executed onside attempt at that.
  5. I recognize that special teams is a group effort among many different coaches and staff assistants, but it's been one issue after another all season on ST. Watts is the supposedly the general in charge of it all and he's certainly in Harsin's ear during games so he gets all the blame from me. Plus, we can't afford to fall too much further behind in recruiting. The state of Florida is prime for the picking. Gimme a replacement with strong Sunshine state inroads if it's my choice.
  6. Man, I've been beating this drum all year. The RBs, particularly Tank, are culpable that they don't always read the defense correctly on the zone run schemes. It goes bang/bend/bounce and it's a read by the RB. It may not always be pretty, but if the OL has a hat on a hat that's winning in a zone scheme and then it's up to the RB to make the right choice. They get impatient and try to make something happen that's not there and sometimes it's detrimental to a drive. Also, there's time when we inexplicably abandon the run game.
  7. Have you noticed the decline in everything special teams not named Chapman? I honestly can't tell any positive impact he's had on his position group AND he's done absolutely nothing on the recruiting trail. Just saying...
  8. I agree, but I'm primarily relying on Hudson, Robertson, and an emerging Ja'Varrius plus the TEs.
  9. Would have loved to see him with competent coaching and a good offensive line his whole career.
  10. Hopefully this will lead to a renewed focus on the running game. There's been festering issues all season hindering our rush offense and contrary to popular opinion, it's not all the fault of the OL. I think TJ can get it done, but just like Bo, he's going to need the guys around him to step it up a notch.
  11. Damn, what a terrible outcome that was yesterday, in more ways thatln just the L. 😔 Hopefully Bo makes a quick recovery and is 100% ready for spring practices.
  12. SIAP but..... this kinda stuff never, ever ends well
  13. I have no problem swallowing a loss, but this was an epic collapse. I'm extremely disappointed in that defensive performance.
  14. Never should have went for it already. Announcers right on that
  15. I swear IF they call targeting on THAT we have a huge issue
  16. Rogers is 30 for his last 32. Defense has failed us today folks.
