everyone go to Foxsports fb page and comment fire thayer evans on every post

thayer evans

Unfortunately, this has been done ad nauseum, and the only thing it does is give hits to his FB page, which in turn probably gets him a bonus from foxsports.  The best thing we can all do is ignore him completely, and if you ever have the displeasure of being around him at a sporting event, call him out.  If he is doing an interview, just stand a few feet away and yell "Liar" very loudly every time he tries to say something.

I'm with AUgrad 97. Just ignore him and all outlets that have his name on it. They want hits and you'll be giving it to him.

When it all blows over he'll get nailed. The other news outlets with local sympathies will take him on and it will be oh so sweet.

Yes...this is true. Thayer Evans has been on a witch hunt over the last week trying to dig up anything on Cam he can. He has been calling professors etc...doing anything he can to try and destroy Cam. Thayer Evans is purposly putting on a smear Cam Newton campaign, trying to destroy his reputation.

For those of you who read my post about "rats" the other day, Thayer Evans is arguably the worst one. He is extremely dirty and needs to be fired. I don't know all of the details, but I can guarentee you there is a money trail involving Thayer Evans in all this. You don't smear someone like this for no reason. You don't take out a personal vendetta on a guy for no reason. That's what Thayer Evans has done. He's a dirty, dirty guy. Anything that comes out from him, please DO NOT believe it. If he can't find the dirt he wants, he'll make it up and it will be your own fault if you go crazy over new rumors.

On that note, I have talked to several more Auburn folks over the last several days since my last post about this and I am even more convinced Auburn and Cam will be owed a huge apology after all is said and done. It's also looking like the bammers are going to be brought in on this, as I said in the beginning of all this, during bammer's off week. The athletic department at bammer WAS on lock-down on Friday and at least 8 computers and some servers taken. This story could get really crazy when this is all over. The only problem is the lack of real journalism in this state and the bammer controlled media is ridiculous. Some of yall got mad at me last week when I said Auburn had failed in taking it's share of the media and we have to accept responsibility for that ourselves and better our journalism department....Well, for those of you who got mad at me....How is it bammer's athletic department can get locked down by the FBI, with them coming out of that place with computers like they're busting an illegal porn ring....AND NOT ONE....NOT ONE MEDIA MEMBER has even teased it? How does that happen?

Anyway, we're about to smash bammer in two weeks...we're going to lay the smack down on South Cackylacky in the Championship Game and it's going to be off to Glendale. War Eagle!

Pretty simple in that Jodi Wright was running his mouth about AU and Cam and lil nick got involved. Now the rec is in full attack mode and will do ANYTHING to stop AU from going to the BCSNCG.

I've been wondering this, too. Honestly, I just think it's some of our fans looking to take a shot at Bama.

Perhaps someone can fill me in. I saw the report that the Alabama athletics department was in lock down, but I never saw where there was any mention of a reason. Where did this idea that they were seizing computers come from? How do we know that it wasn't that someone just pulled a fire alarm or made threats against an athlete. Where is the link to the information that states that the FBI was seizing computers? Can someone post it here?

If there is no source then I am highly disappointed in all of you, because you are falling victim to the same BS that the Thayer Evans' and Mike Bianchi's have been pushing. And that is that is ok to spout 'facts' from some unknown source said that no one else can verify. I think now more than ever, actual sources very important.

The belief that bammer is involved is no different than your certainty that they aren't. Neither can be proven or disputed yet.

I am by no means certain that they are not.  I did not know there was substance to these stories, hence why I'm asking how they are involved.  People have been saying Jodi Wright's name now since the very beginning.

I think it is very obvious to all that nothing said here makes into the national media.  I have yet to see a "BREAING NEWS: Bama may be the cause"  ticker on ESPN.  IT IS NOT THE SAME AS THAYER's articles and reports.  This is a talk forum.  It is for discussion and theories, no matter how obscure they may be.  It is not a national platform.

Mr. Wrights employment history involves 2 schools that have been linked by some to this story. When and if it all ever meets the light of day, there is no telling what the actual story will be. Any conjecture is just that. Conjecture.

There are some obvious differences. First of all, no one on here has the bully pulpit of ESPN or Foxsports to purvey their opinions. Secondly, as far as I know, no one one here is pretending to be an unbiased journalist. this, a message board, is the proper place for opinions and rants. An entity portraying themselves as a place for sports news isn't.

The seizing of computers is not an idea, it's a fact. I know that it wasn't a fire alarm because the FBI was there, not the fire department and they carried out at least 8 computers and a couple servers as well. There is no link to post. As I stated in my original post, NOBODY in the media is touching it. Someone said why is the national media not on this? As I said in a post last week, the national media doesn't do much investigative work. They get their information from local journalists and decide what they want to put their face on. If all of the media surrounding a particular institution, such as bammer is either a grad of that school, bought and paid for by that school, has a publisher from that school etc., you will not hear anything about it until it's no longer able to be hidden. There is no link to post for that reason. The only reason anyone knows about it at all is because of Auburn people who found out. I cannot and will not ever reveal a source on any information I may have. Therefore, I won't be able to satisfy your need for rock solid confirmation. All I can do is tell you that I have heard this happened from 3 or 4 different people, one of which is a better source than I've ever had for recruiting or anything like that. The person I have gotten my information from on this situation is VERY close to the situation. That's the best I can do for you in that reguard, other than to just say that I put my reputation on the line every time I post something like this, and I'm not about to post something that I don't feel solid about. I can promise you that I'm not spouting the "same B.S. Evans and Bianchi have been pushing".

Forgive me for showing up to the party a little late, but does this incident pertain to the Cam story or is it tied to something else all together. Thanks for posting this info; it's certainly soothing to the soul.

For those who doubt - stay around long enough and you will realize The Mayor may be to best "source" you'll ever find.

I found it funny that the Round Table guys on JOX were talking about how crazy it was that the university was going into lockdown around them, and then they never mentioned it again during the rest of the show -- or since.

That's the part I don't have confirmation on. The only thing I could tell is it's what I've "heard"....And that would be conjecture....But what I've heard is a common theme I keep hearing...so I don't know yet. The rumor is it does involve the Cam case. We'll see. If it does, then I expect all the reports to be true that Cam and Auburn will be cleared soon....And a storm of doo-doo to follow that will be epic involving an assistant at AL, MSU coaches and boosters and Thayer Evans.
