On the days we havent practiced or will not practice do we still have the guys in team meetings? Or "Chalk Talk " with the coaches or assistant? Or film with the coaches or assistant? Or weight training with Yox or an assistant?

Is it ok for a player to miss a day from pratice in exchange for a day with a coordinator (say a player who wants to be an assistant one day) to be schooled by a coach on what he wants done in volunteer work-outs and say 7 on 7's? during the down time?

I was just wondering what we could have done or are doing without the NCAA getting all Rich Rod on us.

Im not sure but I think we get maybe 18 days of practice time. Not whole days but regular school time practice days.

I heard that somewhere I think.

I would be very thankful for any info.

This is from NCAA.org...

"Although there is no specific limit on the number of practices teams may hold while preparing for a bowl game, standard NCAA rules apply for student-athletes’ participation in practice or other athletically related activities. Same as the regular season, these rules limit practice and other athletic activities to a maximum of four hours per day and 20 hours per week."
