Blizz5307 0
I hope he gets drafted. I love watching KG play. Nothing better than seeing his throwdowns.

Rednilla 5,396
Any chance we can get Chumm to come out early? He'll likely be sitting behind Kouassi regardless...

mustache eagle 2,412
we signed 4 and we only have 3 scholly seniors. someone is going to be gone ... it will be nice to have an auburn guy get drafted. i dont remember who the last one was... kg seems like a good guy on top of that. it was nice to see him emotional about his last home game. good for all of the seniors with the win today. AUFriction 1,179
I think you guys seriously underestimate Chubb. He is a good player. His problem is consistancy. He will make an unbelievable play and follow it up with a bonehead play. However, there is a reason he is starting...
waregl87 0
I think you guys seriously underestimate Chubb. He is a good player. His problem is consistancy. He will make an unbelievable play and follow it up with a bonehead play. However, there is a reason he is starting... Because we don't have other centers? Look, I'm not saying Chubb is a terrible player. We could do worse, but for a team that's trying to change the culture and start building a consistent winner, Chubb isn't what we need at C. He's WAAAY too inconsistent, he doesn't block shots and maybe most frustrating to me is that he doesn't rebound. What 6'10" center can't pull down at least 6-7 rebounds per night? Chubb is what he is, which is a Lebo recruit. Barbee has turned him into a decent center, but it's way too hit and miss. What we need is for Kouassi and Dixon-Tatum to put on some weight and learn the ropes quickly because their upside is far superior to Chubb's. I don't want to rag on the guy b/c I appreciate his effort every night, but he got a lot of minutes this year simply because we didn't have anybody else at the C spot. Kouassi wasn't ready for most of the season, but he's basically split time with Chubb the last two weeks because he's gotten the grasp of Barbee's system and is starting to somewhat figure it out. Kouassi getting more minutes isn't a coincidence, and I think Chubb's playing time will decrease even less next year with Dixon-Tatum in the fold. That's just how I see it. TigerPaw1 0
I think you guys seriously underestimate Chubb. He is a good player. His problem is consistancy. He will make an unbelievable play and follow it up with a bonehead play. However, there is a reason he is starting... He is a guy that should only get 10 minutes but because of the lack of any post presence he starts. By far the softest guy in the post I have ever seen. I'm hoping Koussai and that 7 footer we signed over the offseason push Chubb's minutes down. All season I was hoping Forbes would start.... AUGoo 2,664
Chubb is just in the wrong position out of need for a big man. When he and Forbes have been on the floor simultaneously he has, at times, played a strong forward spot on the offensive end of the court and the center spot on D. I think he has done OK on D and disagree about his rebounding. I think he is a strong presence rebounding and should stay as the hustle guy/trash collector/defensive specialist at Center and not run any of the O through him but use his hustle at a strong forward type position. I pull so hard for him and keep believing that the next game is going to get him over the hump to stardom......and I just keep pulling out my hair. But this next game.........
