TastesLikeChicken 0
Apparently its legally spelled 'Ladarious' and Momma Foster has a job in BHam now. Kyle Kolumbus@kkolumbo Dear God! So "bamalen" admits to Fosters mom being set up with a job in Birmingham on BOL & acts like its not a violation? Haha..moron

corchjay 5,311
You know what's sad? If he ever makes into alabama and plays in the Iron Bowl then you'll have that "special report" during every game about the Alabama player with the Auburn tattoo that everyone knows the story that cares about college football but they'll rehash it a million times. Plus he is always good for a sound bite or two.

bootskii 264
So dudes mom got "taken care of" just like Trent's mom did? Shocking. Does he have a Charger yet? Was reading the Scout forum and someone said that Rueben never had a car but the day he announced his decision to Bama he had a new Charger. Just repeating what I read. That being said if I were a 5* recruit I would want something better than a crappy charger. Julio got an Escalade and Ingram got a Tahoe. Geez if you are going to cheat at least shoot for the stars. keesler 5,924
The kid has loads of talent, I wish the best of luck to him and his family. He has proven to be very impressionable, and he got jerked around by a former AU staff member that should be embarrassed by his actions regarding this kid. Bottom line, I hope RF learns to stand on his own two feet and can mature enough to find the wisdom to make decisions for himself and not let others lead him around like he's on a leash. Having said this, I've officially moved on.

This is BS. That someone on ITAT who posted that about the car was full of crap. That being said, we really needed someone of RF's talent at a position of great need at AU. RF may be a goofball, but I would have liked for Gus and staff to be given the opportunity to coach him up. Chizik and Troopa would have wasted his talent, that staff's lack of attention toward discipline would have probably resulted in RF being arrested and kicked off of the team in less than a year. wde

AuburnGrad97 37
It's amazing how Auburn gets a "hard look" from tha NCAA because of Jovon Robinson's grade getting changed 3 years before Auburn starts contacting him, yet everyone in the country sees what goes on in tuscaloosa, many of which were during their probation time period, and nothing. I try not to buy into the conspiracy theories, but it's getting more and more difficult. How man NCAA investigators do you think would be crawling around Auburn's campus today if Montravius Adams said "I chose Auburn because they are getting my mom a job in Auburn, and they are going to take care of my family."??? Or if all the sudden, all of our top players started driving $50K vehicles??? As much as I hate to say it, Saban is a good coach, but to think that he is light years ahead of every other program in the country is a bit hard to believe. Auburn is the only school I have ever known to be investigated because another school offered a player money. Would bammer get investigated if we had one of our boosters call the NCAA and say "we offered RF $200K to come to Auburn, but he went to bammer"? I sincerely doubt it. Oh well, life goes on. I look forward to Gus and crew whipping his arse on the field in the years to come. War Eagle!!!
keesler 5,924
I wonder if the NCAA is looking into Johnny Manziel and aTm right now. I've seen him a tons of NBA games, with courtside seats (he even had a team mate or two with him), he has been photo'ed in casinos, party places and nightclubs. That kid flat out gets around and is living like a rockstar. Even if his parents pay for his activities, are they also paying for his team-mate's as well? And is that an NCAA violation? Just curious, because JFF is very much in the spotlight and he is running around all over the place these days, living it up.

I heard on the radio the other day that Manziel gets a HEALTHY allowance from his parents. That allows him to make it to all of those events and I guess if it is his money it would not be a violation.

I agree, I don't think his family is hurting for money and the tens of thousands of dollars his scholarship frees up makes it even easier for them to give him a thousand dollar kick here and there.
