The Bama fans would have not a darn thing to say at all, except they lost (even though that is really the only thing that matters anyways). I was just listening to the Finebaum show and the caller had a good point, but let Paul get the better of him. The caller shoulda said something along the lines of, "Paul, yes Auburn would have had a better shot at the #2 spot with a bigger victory saturday, but do you honestly feel Auburn would get over 42 votes from the AP voters and over 43 votes from the coaches - because that is what it would take for Auburn to be #2 right now. Because either way, Oklahoma would be #1 and Auburn #3 in the computers because margin of victory basically means nothing in the computers." This is what everyone (Bama fans) keep forgetting - the odds of that happening are astronomical.
