3rdgeneration 6,469
Everybody pack their raincoats and haul them into the stadium and that will assure it will not rain!
FHeal 4
IIRC didn't Nick start wearing gloves in the rain at Barton Rouge and after going barehanded everything started turning around?
3rdgeneration 6,469
If that is indeed true, can you drop Gus a little email and remind him of that??? lol
trout54 55
I think the most obvious possibility, that no one is discussing with the weather issues, is turnovers. Who will win that battle?

I feel like I touched on that with the whole "zone read exchange" concern.

ToraGirl 5,498
Anyone who doesn't realize or admit to the fact that rain will greatly help Arkansas and hurt us is absolutely blind. The zone read exchange with a wet ball is a nightmare. Our uber-talented WRs will be slowed. Open your eyes and see that a wet, sloppy game will only benefit the pigs. You're right, in a monsoon we'll only score 50. :Sing: :Sing: Makes as much sense as trying to foretell with any semblance of certainty any team's advantage, considering neither has hit the stage in 2014-15. :Sing: :Sing:
kingfish 73
Fox 6 news at 10 tonight forecasts a 30% chance of rain during ball game. Still 3 days out. On the other side of the coin there is a 70% of no rain. That sounds better.
homersapien 11,385
Ummm...the rain will affect both teams...end of story. Let's just play some ball! Wrong. Once it starts raining the slow guys can catch the fast guys.
chimesAU 89
I keep having flashbacks to the 96 Outback Bowl vs Penn State. Horrible memories...
AU64 10,122
There is "rain" and there is RAIN... like the West Va game https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=auburn+westvirginia+rain&type=2button&fr=ymyy-t-999 I'm not worrying....
aucanucktiger 1,794
A defense that must react (especially to last second faked handoffs, etc) is at a disadvantage on a slippery surface. IMHO.

shuebru 39
On a related note, if you are going to the game, bring a zip lock bag to put your phone in. I learned that the hard way at the 2009 WVU game.
