RunInRed 16,409
http://www.cbssports...rs/expert/picks http://espn.go.com/b...-12-predictions No. 9 AUBURN (+2.5) at No. 15 GEORGIA (7:15, ESPN)Mandel: I couldn't be more excited to see Todd Gurley back on the field. I don't know that it will make that big a difference. Auburn's downfall this season has been its lack of a pass rush. Opponents are averaging 7.2 yards per attempt, 78th nationally. Georgia has not demonstrated big-play passing ability. And it's been maddeningly inconsistent on defense. Auburn can't afford to be sloppy like it was against Texas A&M, but chances are it's going to move up and down the field. Auburn 35, Georgia 24. Feldman: Gurley's back and he'll face a Tiger D that is reeling after last week's debacle against A&M, a 23-point underdog who pulled a huge upset. The Tigers have allowed 36 ppg in the last four times out. Georgia, 34, Auburn 28. http://www.foxsports...pi-state-111314 Auburn at GeorgiaDetails: Saturday, 7:15 p.m. ET, ESPN The skinny: Bulldogs star Todd Gurley (above) makes his return after a four-game suspension, but he might be too late to put Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. Though the Bulldogs need help to get there, their push has to begin with a win over Auburn. Auburn's defense has been spotty at best, and Cassanova McKinzy (above) will play a key role in trying to slow Gurley in his first game in more than a month. Georgia's defense, meanwhile, could struggle with Auburn's dynamic read-option rushing attack, led by Nick Marshall and Cameron Artis-Payne, who is emerging as an intriguing NFL prospect. Other key NFL prospects to watch include Auburn's Sammie Coates and Reese Dismukes, and Georgia's Leonard Floyd and Damian Swann. Dual-Threat Rigby 8,667
Clean sweep against us on College Game day.... Herbstreit hoped that Ellis went after the defense after this atrocious past month. I hope that as well, because he's coaching for more than just that defense now
