I was just thinking the same thing. Except I was thinking this is finally a good time to wear orange jerseys. LSU train all year NOT to hit the guy in the orange jersey. If the whole team is in orange, natural instinct may kick in a time or two and give us the extra second needed here and there to get by them. So...I've always been against the orange jersey theory...and I've finally come up with a good enough reason to say give it a shot! Then the whole team is in no contact jerseys! I don't see any reason to not honor their request either. lsu gets permission from the SEC every year and from their opponents that year to do this. It's not a big deal. triangletiger 1,599 Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 The only reason I can see to not honor their request is that it's a day game and going to be 93 degrees (or hotter) at game time. The white jerseys reflect heat while the dark colored ones absorb heat. This provides an advantage to the team in white, however slight it may be. If AU had not played like trash in the previous 2 games, I'd be for it. I'd like to see an orange jersey game. Think Under Armour is pushing for it.
