In '83 when Miami jumped over us from #4 to #1, we agreed to play in the 1984 "once and for all" kickoff classic against them...after we graduated like 10 NFL draft picks from the'83 team. Miami still points to our 3 point loss in that '84 game as justifying their MNC in '83. Even if we were to beat USC in such a game next year, it's a can't win situation...they'll still be the BCS 2004 MNC. I don't want the BCS and media getting off easy by matching us up w/ USC in a kickoff classic next year and saying it's anything like if we had gotten to play USC in 2004. Gone will be Jason, Carnell, Ronnie, etc., etc., our team will be completely different next year. JUST SAY NO! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
