UoB study collected data from 850,000 vaccinated people and 321,000 non vaccinated people over about 2 years. After accounting for age,race, body index, etc, the researches found that the risk for VTE (blood clots) in regular unvaccinated adults to be 1.3741 out of 1,000 individuals, while the blood clot rates in people who had at least one dose of the Covid vaccine to be 1.3755 out of 1,000 , an increase 0.1%. This data shows a possible 1.4 blood clots caused by the Vaccine out of every 1 million who receive it. The conclusion reached was that the vaccine carries very little risk for blood clots, and that infection from the covid virus lead to significantly higher rates of VTE than the vaccine itself did.
