Since the post-game thread is locked I’ll leave this here: CBM played half of the minutes CMo did, with significantly better production. Seems clear he needs to be on the floor. Made some mistakes but he has a gear CMo just doesn’t.

I wouldn't say that tbh, CMo was one of the better players in the entire game. His stuff just doesn't translate to stats. Off the to of my head, he was a real threat leaking out in transition, got at least one bucket of that kind and Tre Donaldson narrowly missed him in another moment where he was open. Not to mention his hustle around the rim on rebounds and his motor on defense. I can't discount the value CBM showed with creating his own shot or those steals. They both were good in that game. I'd say they both outperformed Jaylin Williams in that game. If I was reaching a conclusion based on that game alone, I'd say they need to have more actions ran for them rather than him.

 

We'll see how it expands out as the year progresses though
