  1. 1. If you were a big time recruit would you....

    • not make the any visits except to AU. AU all the way.
      2
    • make every visit I could for fun but would still be AU all the way.
      12
    • genuinely see if other schools could offer more while being an AU lean.
      11
    • be wide open. This is too important to let sentimentality get in the way.
      2
    • not even consider AU.

I am sure most of us would say AU all the way no questions asked. I just wonder what the numbers look like. If you are a big AU fan but would be wide open why?

If i was a finely tuned athletic machine :o , I would honestly check out all my choices(except Bama), but would remain an :au: man in heart. In the end, it would still be :au: though. Why would I not want to attend the SEC power that is :au: ?

I think I would be an AU lean but still make my visits. Why not take advantage of getting to take trips to other campuses, meeting other folks, being "escorted" by pretty young girls, having your own Logan Young ATM card..... :big:

I would play flipper for a fool sucking up his recruiting time on me then sign with AU on signing day and declare that I have been a silent AU commit all along to spite the bammers.

I'm going to think of it how it really was for me coming out of HS....I didn't even know what or where auburn was. :) My final list was Va Tech, Ga Tech and Auburn....Auburn just recruited me harder and they got my LOI on signing day.

now I'm a true AU man :cheer::au::cheer:

(BTW: this was me as an engineer not a Football player)

I probably wouldn't actually do it but it is a fun thought. I don't think my loyalty to Auburn would allow me to even give them the chance.
