tarheeltiger 0
We started (then inadvertently deleted) a thread asking about the morbidity and mortality of bird flu especially in regards to captive raptors. The hope was someone from the vet school/raptor center might have some information on this. Also - any information on communicability between wild and contained/caged birds? There is no human vaccine at present. Is there a vaccine for vet use? Thanks!
AURaptor 1,128
As for me, I try to take an extra vitamin C every day. Hope the eagles are much better protected, being captive, and all.
KunzelTiger 0
What I've found works very well is I keep a nickle in my pocket at all times. I haven't gotten bird flu yet! Everyone try it, It really works! Turns out Bird flu is afraid of nickles
