US admits Iraq is terror 'cause'

By Tom Baldwin

Report says that 11,000 attacks worldwide shows the war has become driving factor for extremists

THREE years after its invasion of Iraq the US Administration acknowledged yesterday that the war has become “a cause” for Islamic extremists worldwide and there is a risk of the country becoming a safe haven for terrorists hoping to launch fresh attacks on America.

I would say the report and it's findings are flawed. The war in Iraq is not the "driving factor for extremists". Their driving factor is Islam.

It might be what THEY claim , but it's still no justification for terrorism. There is no justification for it, before the Iraq war or after.

I agree. But it seems to have intensified since our invasion of Iraq.

The number of attacks had been going down until this month. ( april ) We saw that doing nothing didn't keep the terrorist from blowing up things, at least now we're killing them before they kill more innocent lives.
