Last night on his recruiting show, Davis brought himself to shuddering ecstasy, the flood nearly shorting out his microphone, while effusively gushing over David Palmer. His voice quivered and broke as he described Palmer as the "greatest athlete he has ever seen." He nearly wept describing one time when he saw him shed a tackler. At one point a caller asked how "we" were doing in regard to a certain player. Without hesitation, Davis began honking the Bama bobo and describing Saban's efforts without regard to which "we" the caller may have intended. Apparently to Davis "we" is UAT. Later, he knelt in fealty to Saban and provided additional obligatory Bama bobo honking services when he spewed forth the company line drivel about Saban's extraordinary recruiting skill. And despite the fact that he's a "recruiting analyst" he failed -- as all others do -- to provide any substantive evidence of said prowess other than the "big time" recruits who are supposedly suddenly "interested". Interest is such a vague term. And then, in a final act of honkicity, when a caller took him to task over his blatant bama bobo honking, he whimpered like a little girl. I watched some games their senior season and my father in law (big fan) and I agree that he threw a better ball in High School than he did his senior year at Bama.
