runswithscissors 33 Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 Good win for you guys. I'll be honest, I expected UT to cruise, and win by 14 points at least. We didn't get the game up here in St Louis, but I was shocked to see the score. i thought we would win, i just didn't think it would be by that much. it seems like we were running more of a true spread and maybe that helped things. what i really can't believe is that the defense shut them out in the second half. was REALLY shocked by that one, actually. a little more optimistic about the LSU game, but i don't know if i really want to make a prediction on that one quite yet. good luck to you guys tonight, should be a good game as always. That D of UT just seemed to drop in zone and wait for JPW to pick them apart. As far as the refs go. I don't they were pulling to screw one team or another. They seemed to just be plain out be. They missed a TOOOOOOON of UT holds. I mean a ton. The "late hit" call on Johnson before the end of the half was one of the worst I've seen. The hit happened IN BOUNDS. All in all i think some calls were missed on both sides. But at 41-17 I think it's hard to blame this one on the refs. UT has, by far, the worst secondary I've seen this year.
