The play was rushed and then a huge blitz on top of that just whooped him. That was definitely one mistake. The big mistake was he yet again fumbled on a sack. But if the defense doesn't put us in a position where we have to hustle after having scored 34 points, the fumble never happens. The only really bad play he made all day was the INT. I thought he played pretty well considering he had to eat the leather so much. To be honest, the biggest mistake LSU made was three years ago when they hired the mad scientist. He's his own worst enemy. i think we can agree that they will probably figure that out next season. i still cannot believe they tried a gimmick play on 4th and INCHES.....God must be looking out for CLM, because the LSU nation would not have been happy had they lost the game. However, I think we can say that Cox has proven himself a hardass considering he was forced off the field during the Arkansas game to patch up the bleeding on his chin only to return to lead our team to victory. Think about it, your team team scored 34 points with your QB going 14-40. What does that tell you about LSU's performance? Given all of LSU's penalties and other screw ups, I would say LSU won despite themselves. FYI..those 3 TD passes are part of those 14 completions and he may have a couple of nice long passes, but what about the 26 incompletions? You aren't worried that your QB only completed 35% of his passes when he put it up 40 times? You aren't worried that your QB had to throw the ball 40 times? If there is a nancy boy between the two, it's not JPW. I didn't bring it up in the first place. But just because Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson has been on his back more times than an Asian hooker doesn't mean he is a tougher QB than Brandon Cox. If anything, I'd say that he's a nancy boy because he can't figure out a way to get out of a sack. Brandon Cox is one of the toughest quarterbacks I've ever seen - college or NFL.
