Of course you knew that the inevitable result of buying into the premise of The Goreicle was going to be something called 'climate justice' didn't you:

Former UN sec-gen Annan calls for 'climate justice'

GENEVA (AFP) — Former UN secretary general Kofi Annan on Tuesday called for 'climate justice', saying that it was polluters who should pay for the effects of climate change, and not the poorest and most vulnerable.

He said funding should be made available to help disadvantaged communities adapt to the effects of global warming as he urged for the international community to focus on adaptation measures.

"We must have climate justice. As an international community, we must recognise that the polluter must pay and not the poor and vulnerable," said Annan at the first high-level meeting of his new humanitarian forum.

During the two-day conference, the Global Humanitarian Forum brings together luminaries from the worlds of politics, business, diplomacy and development to discuss how best to adapt to climate change -- the issue that Annan has called "one of the most significant humanitarian challenges of our time."

Annan noted that communities needed to be "empowered" with the knowledge and tools to deal with the worst effects of climate change.

"We cannot allow the extra cost of adapting to climate change to be siphoned off from the ongoing poverty challenge. We should act immediately to provide them with additional funding and appropriate technical assistance," he said.

Such assistance included providing technologies on weather warnings; supplying farmers with seeds and fertilizers that were adapted to the changing climate, and ensuring that families had insurance for their homes.

Unfortunately we have two presidential candidates who are likely to be amenable to this nonsense in some monetary form or another. And, of course, this form of "justice" will see every country but first world countries classified as "poor and vulnerable". That, of course, means that controlling pollution isn't the real purpose of this - redistribution of income is instead. While the first world taxes itself into economic oblivion, "the poor and vulnerable" will be polluting to their hearth's content and, most likely, having it subsidized by those paying the tax.

That's "justice" in today's world.

On top of that would be Obama's "Global Poverty Act,". If elected this boondoggle is sure to be revived.

It is called Senate Bill 2433, the Global Poverty Act of 2007.

Senate Bill 2433, the Global Poverty Act of 2007, would “require the President to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day.”

The legislation would commit the US to spending 0.7 percent of gross national product on foreign aid, which amounts to a phenomenal 13-year total of $845 billion over and above what the US already spends,” on foreign aid. $845B to corrupt governments who will use the money to sustain their corrupt elite and to buy weaponry, plot against us, and ensure that the poor and hungry stay that way while blaming the U.S government and citizens for their troubles.

This is something that is getting overlooked by the MSM. Global redistribution of American's income and to be done through the ever corrupt UN. In order to get others to like us, we should give them our money, which we will have no say so in how it is disrtibuted? Great Idea!
