He's done some great things with that team and is currently ranked on the top 25. I wouldn't thing it would be hard to take him away from that school and they don't have the money to compete with bigger schools. UTEP can't be a easy place to recruit players to in my opinion. But some of these coaches like the mid major conferences because it gives them an easier route to the ncaa tournament year in and year out and there is not nearly the same pressure and scrutiny you get in major conferences. He has New Mexico at #10 in the nation after only three years in the program.
