I can't believe they didn't mention Ladarious Owens he was the biggest grab out of the linebackers in my opinion. It is Bleacher Report though

Never read anything from bleacher report... but I can say that Auburn will be just fine at Linebacker for 2010.

We have 2 incredible senior leaders returning in Bynes and Stevens. They will be the heart of the D.

Eltoro Freeman is poised to have a breakout year after a disappointing year in 2009. He still has talent, and that cant be denied.

Johnathon Evans stepped up big in the Bama game last year and made some plays as a true freshman.

Jake Holland, Jawara White, Jessel Curry, LADARIOUS OWENS are new additions to this great corps.

Not sure about the status of Harris Gaston, but im hoping that he can emerge as well and provide some depth.

Auburn is looking to be in good shape at this position, and it should help with Ted Roofs second season in this defense.

Yeah, I'd forgotten all about Gaston, but if he can rebound from the injuries, he'll add to the corps pretty well. I'm not sure how much we'll see Owens at linebacker, though, simply because he'll come in behind all the other guys, even the other freshmen, because he's never played linebacker before. If Gaston does come back, then adding Jessel Curry to the mix gives us a two deep that has already been on the field practicing with the team. Owens is a beast, no doubt, but he might be better served to spend some time just running on special teams while learning the position.

Its possible that he (Owens) could be come a third down specialist for the first few weeks. His speed is incredible for somebody his size. He can really chase the after the football and I believe he had 20 plus sacks his senior season at DE. If he catches on mentally with Roof's schemes for LB... we are looking at a new level of Freak guys.

I think Curry and Holland will produce more this year and Owens will really come on next year after learning what to do at LB. During A-day Curry was all over the field and is definitely not afraid to hit someone. I was curious about his LB potential when he committed, but I really like him now. I think he will do some good things this year.

Owens will be a beast on special teams.    I would love for Jessel to be able to move to safety he would DESTROY people.

He has the speed for it...but I think he will continue to bulk up and make one heck of a LB over the next few years.

Same here, He has the hips, speed and aggression to be great at either position.

Last year I wad worried about the LB position, mainly keeping the guys healthy with no one to step in for them. This year not so much. We have quality guys ready to make an impact.

Our LB corps has added much needed depth with some kids we believe will be studs when it is all said and done. The problem is, our depth there is very young. I still believe it will be the achilles heel of our D this year.

I'm more worried about the depth at corner than I am linebacker. We've got four guys back with big game experience, one redshirt, and four incoming freshman that I feel really good about. Not sure what to expect from the young guys at corner.
