Even if you site from another Forum, that is okay. Just dont hallucinate new rumors. We are not Tider Insider. 6) When referring to an article, give us a link, ALWAYS! If there is no link, then give us bibliography type info, as in author, article name, magazine-book title, etc. We understand that there might not be an Internet link for Callier's December 1941. 8) Any and all calls by the Mods will be upheld by the Admins. Complain if you want, but it will likely get you nowhere. The mods here have been here for quite a while. There are some new ones but they have been added after a pretty careful review. I implicitly trust the mods decisions. I cannot nor do I want to be involved with all calls as to the rules, class and civility. I back them 100%. I truly cant recall any of our mods over-stepping their bounds. Our mods cover all the forums. I cannot and wont waste all my time doing so. Therefore they rule. If you have a question e-mail/pm one and get an answer. 9) What do YOU get? You get a free place to express yourself as you want to be heard. Your voice will be protected as much as the next person. But even if it was "freedom of speech" applies to the government. This is a private board with its own rules that you can like or dislike, but will follow. A privately own company (or board in this case) can't censor because it is not run by the government. Only the government can censor! The MTV thread was not bashing the Kerry girls and make slanderous remarks about them as your post was about the Bush girls. The MTV thread was a remark about how surprised alot of us were that the normal liberal MTV crowd booed the daughters of the liberal candidate. The thread was nto started by making negative comments about the Kerry girls. My post even suggested that it was a bit inapporpriate because it is not their fault the way their dad has made his reputation. I made a moderator call on a snide joke about the girls personal lives that I felt was over the line. It wasn't anything nasty, but it was over the line. I'd do the same if someone crossed the line in reference to the Kerry girls.
