Will MLB pitching rule change reach collge ?

Been reading that in 2020 season a new rule to speed up the game will be implemented.    Basically, relief pitchers will be required to face a minimum of three batters or finish a half an inning. No more bringing in a pitcher to face one batter.....righty vs lefty, and then pulling him for another pitcher to face the right handed batter that follows.  

Will affect several pitchers who make their living by only pitching to one batter.....usually a lefty/righty setup and then their day is done. 

Don't recall that colleges do much of that but it would mean that if you bring in a guy who from the start is having problems, the manager might have to stick it out with him for a few batters. :dunno:

Likely so.....and probably cost some "specialist" relievers  their jobs too if they can't get batters out on both sides of the plate.   BUT...I'm all for doing it....probably will affect a relatively small percentage of games in a meaningful way.....and keep some managers from over-managing their teams.
