Good stuff Mikey. I got to the range saturday and put about 100 rounds through the Taurus. It handles really well and I've very pleased with it. It's comfortable to carry IWB. My home defense weapon I have down to two models. One is the Springfield Hellcat Pro 9mm and the other is the Sig Sauer P320 Full Size, also chambered in 9mm. Hellcat is a bit more expensive but does come with five 15 round magazines. The Sig comes with two 17 round magazines. I'll probably make a decision after seeing how they fit in my hand and probably go ahead and pick up one or the other probably saturday.

Way late on this and should have done this sooner. Filed for my CCP Monday. In Florida they tell you 90 days, but was told you get your license within a wekk and a half, unless something stupid comes up on the background check,etc. I decided to go with a Taurus GX4 9mm for my every day carry. It comes with 2 11 round magazines but they sell extensions to 13 rounds for $10 so I ordered 2 of those to expand the magazines. 13 rounds is solid on a compact pistol. All the reviews I read on it were positive and I'm aware they had some quality control issues in the past. I was looking at the Sig P365, but the price point of the Taurus led me to that one. I may pick up the Sig at a later date or maybe a larger model sig for home. In regards to holsters, I was looking at the Alien Gear Shapeshift holster (basically 4 holsters in one package), but they don't have a mold for the GX4, and at work I have to keep my shirt tucked in (set the example for the rest of the minions). So, I went with a holster from a company called Tulster. The holster I bought is called THE OATH. It's a tuckable holster so as long as the printing isn't bad I should be good on that one. Supposed to arrive tomorrow.

Looks like all these are designed to speed the game up. I hate that they constantly implement or propose rules to speed up the game when all they have to do is limit the number of commercial breaks we get every game. Problem solved. #1 and #2 I'm ok with. 3 and 4 no. as to your other statement, about being down without contact, I hope that rule NEVER changes in college. The only level of football that's a rule is pro. It needs to remain in pro and NEVER trickle down. Too many of the rules from pro have trickled down and none have had a postiive impact on the game. It's PRO football and certain things should be exclusive to the PRO game and not invade collegiate (or high school) athletics. I know most will disagree, and that's ok. I just believe there needs to be more distinction between the lower levels of football and the pro game

I absolutely agree. We know we have some deficiencies and that isn't going to change this year. I understand the disappointment but I can't understand the constant negativity and rehashing the same talking points game after game. We KNOW we have deficiencies. We also know Bruce Pearl is one of the best coaches in the country. We are a good basketball team even with those issues. We have been unlucky (if that's even a thing) in some of these close games. Several we should have won. 8-9 years ago we were lucky to even make the tournament, now people are jumping off cliffs because this team may be a little short on the talent we have been accustomed too over recent years. Question, where were those same people during the Barbee years? Most of these people complaining now didn't even visit the basketball forum back then. @Maverick.AU You and I were here though. Accept this team for what they are and quit rehashing the same stuff every thread. This is a good basketball team that works their asses off every day that has just fallen short of what we as fans would like to see. I have every bit of confidence that Bruce Pearl will go out and get some players from the portal that will address the issues we have had the last 2 years. This season may not be what we all wanted, but its a far cry from where we were before Pearl got here. The future is very bright.

Fifty, What makes you say Orange should be an accent color? There's nothing anywhere that says Orange is a "secondary" or "accent" color. The two colors are ALWAYS equally used and Orange gets top billing in the fight song...Fight on you orange and blue. I absolutely LOVE the Orange across all the sports that have them. Would rather see us in Orange jerseys or pants than any other. ALWAYS give me more ORANGE. I don't know of any school anywhere that considers one of their team colors to be an accent only color.
