So the last year of the 4 team playoffs they FINALLY decided to change the requirements. Typical.

Michigan Washington Texas FSU - you don't leave out an undefeated team. I don't care about the circumstance. I'm ready for the Bama and UGA melt!

I think it will help but with a group of WRs that we're expected to get, I want a better QB if we can get one. Even though we should've beat Bama, it wasn't because PT had a really good passing game. I believe we can be a 8 or 9 win team and beat the teams we're supposed to beat. However, I'm still not a believer that PT is enough to beat LSU, UGA or Bama. We play Mizzou next season. I certainly don't think PT can win a shootout with Brady Cook (if he returns). I want a little more than a competent passing QB. And yes I get it's not all on PT. But the times when all variables were in line...I wasn't that impressed. I trust him to beat the teams we should beat but beyond that....I'm hoping for more at the position.

Ohio St won a national championship with a backup QB. Why does it matter now? It matters now to many because it would mean the SEC would get left out. And let's not forget that it took a miracle play by Bama to beat us! A win is a win but Auburn dominated that game until the last few seconds.

UGA is done.

This was the same list and a similar percentage after the Mich game. But yet all the so called experts left FSU out and put Bama in.

Sweet baby Jesus I hope this happens! I want to see Bama and UGA melt. UGA feels they still have a case as well. But I'm sure the committee will leave out FSU and put Bama in. I'm not a "Go SEC" person if it relates to Bama and UGA. These are the 4 i want in. I don't agree with changing the way things are done the last year of the 4 team playoff. Don't start setting presidents now by leaving out an undefeated team! I don't care about the situation. It's hard as hell to go undefeated in college football.

I'll pass on Will Howard and KJ. Howard is very inconsistent. One moment he looks like an NFL QB and then the next moment you're like WT% who is he throwing too. He lost me some good money this season. I've wanted Grayson since HF arrived. Ward would be my second choice.

I thought Riley to ND was a forgone conclusion as soon as he hit the portal.

I'm sure he wasn't in a hurry to return either. Coastal's new coach sucks.

And in my opinion, it starts with a difference maker at QB that several top-tier recruits and transfer players can get behind. And we clearly don't have a QB close to that on this roster. I'm happy that for the most part we beat the teams we were supposed to. However, this game feels like it wiped all the momentum we have gained the last few weeks. Blame goes all around from players to coaches and especially from a coaching perspective. But NMST is no slouch if you've been watching CFB outside of AU and the major teams. Their QB has been making plays all season with his legs and arm. So it didn't surprise me that we were going to struggle against them maybe in the 1st half but I didn't think they'd make us look this bad. I still believe in Hugh but we just have to continue to get better talent at every position. Outside of kicker, every starting position is up for grabs. Sell playing time ASAP until the cows come home!

I agree 100%. I just want us to roll with one QB and let him get a rhythm. Running QBs in and out simply doesn't help an offense that is struggling.
