  1. Good or bad? I think CKS was a solid hire and the right man for the job. We all know about the 70 points that West Virginia scored on Clemson under CKS watch. You need to realize that Dave Aranda, the young DC guru on lsu's staff had 59 points scored on his defense while he was the DC at Wisconsin by Ohio State in the Big 10 conference title game. Kirby Smart when he was the DC at bammer had more than a handful of games that scored over 40 points on Saban's defense. Steele had some good years at Clemson. He did a good job at LSU last season. I think we will have solid defense this year that will be significantly better this season than last year.
  2. What is his 40 time? He looks like a bulldozer with speed. I think he has potential to be a good every down back.
  3. We should have drilled lsu into oblivion that game. Those 5 missed FGs killed us. Carlson would have put that game away well before the 4th quarter. I still fault Pat Dye for the 1988 corndog quake game. If we had opted for the FG when Dye went for it, we would have been 1988 NCs. It is sad to say that we could have had 1983,88, & 2013 to add to 1957 & 2010. Folks that's 5 NCs that should have been on the wall.
  4. I will never forget when Kenny Irons did a stutter step as he jumped over a defender for a long run. I think it was against the turds or maybe lsu. I think he scored on that run.
  5. I think that defense done right will put us in better position to have a more powerful offense that can be successful regardless if it is running the ball or passing. I do not know if it is just me, but we seem to not run many slant routes over the middle. Is this due to the dynamics of a HUNH offense? I do see this from other teams where the QB is under center.
  6. Why do these clowns have him as a 3 star recruit?? They must have lost what little sense remaining in that cavity between their ears! This young man will be a fast and punishing RB. I cannot wait until he hits the field and runs over a lot of players on his way to a couple of 1,000 plus yard seasons.
  7. I hope and pray he can get his academics taken care of. You have got to have an education first and foremost. Life has so many twists and turns, and if you do not have your education, your life will be so much harder. I do have a gut feeling that this young man will in a few years, be tearing it up at JHS!
  8. Is he a solid commitment? I sure hope so. I wish there could be some type of a pre-signing day commitment that pretty much stops other schools from trying to get a recruit to switch. This would take some of the pressure off of the student in order to get his academics in line. The whole recruiting process has gotten way out of hand. In all likelihood, this only going to get worse with each passing year. We will do fine for 2016 when it is all said and done. We will have a top 12 class and likely to finish in the SEC around 5th spot. I no longer worry about not doing better than other SEC teams. We were the only team in the entire country to have the most 4 star recruits in the country with a total of 19. I will take classes like this any day any year. We always manage to have a lot of good talent year in and out.
  9. Glad to have this young man!! He will be a solid 4-star across the recruiting sites by mid October. We need to keep him in the fold without a doubt.
  10. Forest Gump got it right.
  11. I wish the young man the best, and hope that he will have a good career at Kentucky. This will open up a slot for a 4 or 5 star player to come to Auburn. I will take this kind of trade off all day long!
  12. I wonder what genetic mutation took place that made Finebaum what he is today? When he was a boy, did he walk barefoot while cleaning out the dung in the elephant cage at the B'ham Zoo? Obviously, something very bad took place while he was growing up. I have heard that he sleeps in a pink elephant gown with 200 rolls of recycled toilet paper in his matress. He would definitely be a hard nut to crack for sure! As a true blue Auburn fan, I count my many blessings that Finebaum is not an Auburn fan as should any true blue Auburn fan. WDE! Doc
