  1. What about if it is a white carpet? Just kidding I couldn't agree with you more.
  2. While it is true, that with NIL more players switch after committing but the great majority don't switch. So I am still going to get excited by a commit but will temper my excitement a little bit. Even the ones who switch at the end, help with momentum that could help with another player who won't switch.
  3. Of course everybody wants the perfect guy who can replace a great player. Jaylin was our second best scorer and I doubt that Chaney or Mitchell could match his scoring but between them they might. They would both be stronger on the boards which was not Jaylins strength and both play tough defense. I would love to pick him up.
  4. From what I understand. The issue is we don't have the major that the players were working on at different schools. If it is the same Major have we lookwd into adding that major?
  5. It wouldn't hurt to have him visit and go through an workout to be sure he is healthy. Then decide if we should push for him.
  6. So many theories on what the issues is. Sadly none based on any real knowledge.
  7. From what I understand he is visiting tomorrow unless something has changed. We are supposedly his last stop. I am hoping for good news on this front. Hopefully we know by this weekend on both him and Achor.
  8. I am going for some improvement 8-4.
  9. No lottery money for scholarships, not enough NIL,This is what you will get with any Auburn baseball coach. I watched a few of our games we are just one really strong starter and a couple of bounces to being a solid middle of the pack SEC team. The old Gonzo would have made a huge difference. We don't have enough depth because of what I mentioned above. One thing is even in the games we lost the effort was there. What top coach would want to come to Auburn knowing his hands are tied when recruiting.
  10. I found it. It has Auburn at 22nd.
  11. I would think a young guy should relate well and recruit well but sadly NIL probably comes into play here also.
  12. He will be a fan favorite. With his length and athleticism he has potential to be an elite defender as he develops the rest of his offense. With him CBM and Moore we are set at SF.
  13. Love this kids game. He could get minutes at both PG and SG. He has complete offensive package. He goes to rack and scores, hits the three. And has a nice pull up jumper on a drive. Adding him to our backcourt along with Pegeus and Pettiford and PG goes from a weakness to a strength and SG gets better also. Please find a way to get him.
  14. I agree Pearl is doing fine but more NIL would help basketball and baseball.
  15. As long as Alabama does not allow lottery money for scholarships it will be hard for any coach to get the talent to win consistently at Auburn. That plus NIL all going to football. Look what has happened to Pearl because of lack of NIL.
  16. Everybody who write's stories were out drinking Margaritas and Cervezas CINCO DE MAYO.
  17. If she had any thoughts of being VP she probably shot any chance by shooting her dog and bragging about it. Nobody on either side of the aisle agrees with what she did.
  18. You are correct. Despite this fact that they are all Arabs, The Arabs who were from the area that is referred to as Palestine after multiple wars many left the area and went to places like Syria, Jordon, etc and most were put into camps. Many have lived in these camps for many years and multiple generations and yet are not allowed to become citizens of those countries even if second and third generation living in those countries. Basically their own people treat them as badly as the Israelis. That is one of the reasons I said it is a very complicated situation.
  19. Everybody is trying to simplify a very comlicated narrative. Many people forget the Jews and Palistinians have lived there for thousands of years. The Palestinians and Arabs both sided with Nazis in trying to eliminate the Jews. https://jcpa.org/investigating-role-palestinians-arabs-holocaust/ . This is the background of the multiple wars the Jews in Israel have fought. Now the Jews in Israel are not without blame, they have taken land and water rights from Arabs in Israel who were not part of Hamas, prior to the Hamas attack that was against women and children not Military infrastructure they have isolated Gaza and made it difficult for the people to live there. Partly because Gaza has been ruled by Hamas who have stated that they want to wipe Israel off the map. Yes the IDF have bombed hospitals and killed innocent people. The Israelis have also shown that Hamas has embeded soldiers in hospitals, schools and other public areas where they have also stored arms, missles and at times fired those missles from these public areas. If the Israelis were really trying to wipe the Palistinians out, why would they announce in advance where they were going to be bombing. If they had not done that there would have been a lot more that 35,000 dead people per Hamases count as they supply the numbers of killed. I do blame the Israelis for being much to slow in allowing aid like food, water, medicine, etc into Gaza especially the North where they decimated it early on. Sadly there are no winners just losers. The Israelis state can't afford to lose because if they do they will be wiped out and after the holocoust the Jews don't believe anybody would come to their aid. The Palestinians in Gaza and to an extent in the West Bank have sided with Hamas and or the PLO. Both Hamas and the PLO have taken in billions of dollars from the UN that was suppossed to improve conditions in Gaza and the West Bank but especially in Gaza and have used the money and resources to creat an extensive tunnel network, created, bought or were given weapons and missles instead of using the money to help their own people. I also won't deny that there have been times in Gaza where some IDF units have gone to far either by mistake or sadly a few times on purpose. Sadly that happens in every war. Jewish settlers have done attrocious things in some Arab towns and the Israeli government has not protected those towns or prosecuted the offending settlers. There are Jews in Israel who openly and publically condemn their Government over the attrocities and nothing happens to them In Gaza if you speak out against Hamas you dissapear. The Palestinians in Gaza are oppressed by Israelis and by their own leaders. Any poll taken in Gaza has to be taken with a grain of salt if you think anybody would openly say anything against Hamas.
  20. Have not heard anything on him in a long time. Has this ship sailed?
  21. Did he arrive today? If so how did visit go?
  22. I think Jahki will be SF with CBM and Moore will be both SF and PF backup. Hopefully we get the Highpoint guard. If we have two more schollies the I would like another PF.
  23. I thought this was about Highpoint guard visiting. Did he visit and how did it go?
