My first Auburn game was the Gator Bowl 1/2/1971. My parents gave my brothers and I tickets for Christmas and took us. I was nine. A Pat Sullivan led Auburn beat an Archie Manning led Ole Miss 35-28. I vividly remember Ole Miss needing a first down on third and a lot and Archie scrambling all over the field weaving and zigging probably running 80 yards to gain a first down by a yard or two.

Right or wrong the whole Harsin thing has made Auburn look bad. If he stays it continues all year next year. Writing the check makes the whole thing go away faster. Businesses do this all the time.

Dude we are currently the laughing stock of SEC. I hear it every day how many DC's or OC's are you guys going to hire? No one wants to coach there. Imagine what recruiting will be like next season if Harsin returns. He starts out in the hottest hot seat in the country. W will be negatively recruited against by any team we go against. There is a cleanup on aisle 2 and no way Harsin can clean it up.

Whether you like it or not Harsin is gone. The head coach is on vacation with all the clout(current players) trying to fight his battle for him in Auburn is under threat of being fired. Either he is extremely naive about his situation or his wings have already been clipped. If I were the HC and really wanted to return I would be in Auburn rallying whatever troops I could to stay the HC. I would be trying to face to face assure my remaining staff and players that everything was going to be ok. Trying to retain any that were looking around in order to show stability. I believe the decision is done we are just waiting for the ink to dry.

Perhaps this is a discussion for the recruiting board but with the recent decline of the Florida Schools... Miami, FSU and UF why haven't we been able to make more inroads into these fertile recruiting areas?

Great to see it. I saw him play a game in his senior year. He looked like the real deal. A stand out. I am glad my limited evaluation ability is proving true on this level.

So if say the kicker kicks a line drive and bounces off a couple of receiving team players and rolls into the end zone its dead in High School football and cant be recovered by the kicking team?

High School rule interpretation please. Team kicks off receiver stands on the one or so, not on the goal line and not in the end zone. The ball is sailing to the end and will go into it. The receiver still standing outside the end zone reaches high and touches the ball as it enters the end zone. Is this a live ball?

Question... I think it was on either our last kickoff or next to last. We pooch kicked it an two Bama players were under it at the same time one calls fair catch but another catches and advances the ball. I say unfair advantage. What's the rule say?
