on a side note, i really hope the fans start showing up better. I know it was a late Monday night game but arena was maybe half full.

Really great win, hard to say how good these teams are early in the season but like North FL I expect GA State to win more games then they lose this year. They have some talented players and play really hard for their coach. I won't be able to watch the second half until tonight but one thing that stood out to me in the first half was a couple of really good inside moves made by Spencer that he scored on. I'm pretty sure he followed up those good moves and scores by missing a wide open dunk...but never the less it shows he is making some improvements on his inside game and that is awesome to see. Looking forward to watching the second half tonight and seeing how we pulled away. The fact that we shot so badly in the first half and still had the lead is very encouraging. Trying to stay grounded but starting to really like this team!

Getting Wiley in would be huge just from a depth and height standpoint. Spencer and smith will make it tough on people driving to the basket but we'll struggle with teams that can pound it in there. On the plus side we have a strong guard rotation. We'll give teams fits both on offense and defense. We can rotate speed and length at people on the perimeter. Pretty much the entire team can guard out to the three point line. I've seen a few folks down in Dunans play but I thought he was really active. Had blocks steals points assists and rebounds. He'll be a great glue player for us and will probably have some good scoring games from time to time. Great win and start to the season. North Florida was not joke

A lot of credit needs to go to Person as well. About every recruit we've gotten has mentioned him as a big factor. I bet he commands a lot of respect when he walks in the living room with his playing and coaching career. But im not too concerned with the ncaa. With Bruce's history there I'm sure he isn't taking any chances.

I'd say that is a good line for an all star game.

The only thing i really saw that he needs to work on is running so straight up. If he can learn to run with his shoulders down a bit. He can be deadly with his vision and cuting ability. And he looked like he had plenty of speed in most those runs. He'll need to bulk up some of course but that can be said about 90% of RBs coming out of high school. Glad he decided to pick AU!

I'm pretty sure they are just saying to not get too far ahead of ourselves. I don't think he had grade issues. If he did he would be in summer school right now I don't know. Four straight posts allude to some problem with grades. If there is no problem, I wish one of those four would come back and say it's all a bad joke. No joke. But in the end I think all will be ok. Hope so! That is troubling to hear. This guy is as close to a must get as they come

I thought FL offered Westry back when we did and he of course choose here. Not sure why no interest now if that is even why they are rescheduling/canceling his visit. I liked the potential of Westry. I hope he still ends up at AU

With this guys measurables and speed....he could potentially end up playing any position on D outside of DL or could switch over to offense and play WR. I love getting guys like this.

Well since AE is closing up shop er.... relocating I figured I had to atleast make one post in this famous place of nothingness. Now dance banana.....DANCE!!!

From what i've heard Prado will play left or third depending on how Chipper recovers from knee surgery. I'm kinda up in the air on this trade. It does give us the bat we needed so bad but it also takes away our best bat from last year. Plus i think it takes away from us defensively, Ugla has never been a good fielder and being 30 means he isn't going to suddenly get more range. But we had to get a big right handed bat that could drive in some runs and we did that without giving up any starting pitchers. In the end if we can sign him then i'll say its a good trade, if not then its a push so I don't think we can lose so thats good. And as far as signing him, if that money wasn't enough in Florida then we will not sign him. Hopefully he was upset about some moves in the organization and it was more than money that made him not sign that deal.
