How many of these guys are here for 1 year or gone after next year? Will we likely be in the same situation next year with trying to fill a roster with transfers?

He and Green look like high energy guys that could be swapped out without missing a beat. Would he play PG?

I thought he was a one and doner. Likely he is a one year pick up?

As tired of his foibles as I was, and as happy as I was to see him go, I have to agree.

Nope! It's the parents fault. This was a 16 yo kid. I live in an affluent community and see time and again how these kids are not parented and taught that they will get away with anything because of Daddy's influence. If he has mental or addiction issues, his parents should be the first ones getting him help and restricting his ability to do further injury. It's the parents fault.

I think you're putting the cart before the horse! You never know, CBH may turn off all the Offensive plans the night before the game too. Apparently that's a thing when you make the big time.

I don't think he has a future after college in Bball. He'd be crazy to leave.

I'm kind of struggling with this mindset. We can't throw a kid away because he doesn't fit any more. He actually made a commitment to AU and has worked his ass off. If he wishes to stay, we should honor his scholarship to the very end. I don't wish to be that kind of school.

So, assuming he comes in in '21, how many one and dones that bring to us this Fall? I'm not enjoying the taste of rebuild every year like UK does. I want some consistency. We've lost, what 3 freshmen starters and a couple more support guys. Heck, that's half the team! How many one and doners are we hoping for in '22?

THIS is what concerns me about the One and Dones. Have one of them, and you can still build the program. Have a group of them, and you are constantly building with no relative expectations of who is coming back next year. Look at the chronic one and done teams this year. I've loved seeing there downfall and don't wish to live in that same scenario. I just don't know how you strike a balance.
