Ross is the least polished of the 3. I am not a scout that is my opinion. Williams to AU is looking more likely everyday. Hill is a lock and I expect him to commit very soon. Hill is a friend of JF and would help. Wooten Cam and Chip and our offense are bigger factors for JF. I wouldn't be surprised to see SW commit soon but it won't be over until he signs.

Speaking of that class we had silent from Cowart Jefferson and Ivey. Only 1 kept his word. I never felt good about CC I did feel Ivey would sign though. back to Bo Nix the kid will be a top 10 player when he is a senior and the top dual threat imo. He is still behind JF talent wise though and obviously size wise which you can't teach. If we can get both of these guys we are set. I think FSU will make it very tough for us to get both. Damn Jimbo had to be Pat OC lol...

I expect Nix to be a top 10 overall player in 2019 before all is said and done. He will challenge the kid from Cali for top overall qb spot.

Hill is more polished than Ross or Williams. I would say Williams is more polished than Ross. As for friends with JF that would be Hill. Ross also speaks with JF alot more so with JG though. Williams to AU is looking good as long as bama doesn't push. I think we can get Ross still if we get Williams. We will get 1 of Ross or Williams to go along with Hill imo. Maybe both but as ClaytonAU saI'd landing both is going to be difficult. Of we land all 3 Hill Ross and Williams this will rival DC last wr class in Davis NCM and Stove. McClain also is a guy from that class who will be very good before he leaves AU.

We Def want him to slide. He is not a Cam runner that delivers a hit. Even NM tried to get out of bounds and gwt hit as little as possible. We want JS to take as few hits as possible. People forget I believe he was the number 1 dual threat qb coming out of hs. A good dual threat qb gets the yard he can get and gets out of bounds unless you are Cam or have the body to deliver blows. I can't think of many big hits NM took in 2013. However JS isn't near as fast as NM. Also i wouldnt expect near the amount of designed qb runs from JS as NM or Cam had. JS can be effective using his legs though. Just saying defenses will have to account for him keeping the ball.

Positive is JF is still looking very good to AU. I feel better about JF atm than Nix because FSU will put a full court press on Nix if/when we get JF. JF is the pick if u have to get 1. JF is a talent that doesn't come along very often. Nix is also, and I believe he will be a 5 star top 25 player for 2019 when all said and done. Scary thought for all of our rivals is if we get both. As for our offense I don't see anyway that we are not explosive this year. Stidham is a stud and is better than what we even thought he would be coming in. He is a leader on the field to go along with his talents.

JF will make you being mad go away. There is still a good chance we get both. Like I said Jimbo will put a full court press on. LSU can't develope a qb, well we will see what Canada can do so I don't think Pat would send him there. Only place I see Pat sending Bo besides AU is FSU to play under his dad's former OC. Also what Auburn fan would go to LSU to play football. Especially a legacy.

Asa is not ahead of DP on our rb board. If anything they are at the top and if we choose to only take 1 whoever commits 1st gets spot. However I believe we would take both but that is just my opinion and havent really asked about that. Asa could be used more in a KJ role catching the ball out of backfield and a do it all player. DP is a rb and an every down 20 plus carry back at that. Saying that I still think Asa to bama atm.

Our coaches feel good about us having shot with Asa amd believe it is a toss up rn. I believe it will be bama but I believe we have a shot. I don't think he is an every down back as I have said many times but he likes the way we would use him. Asa has a very good relationship with current players and recruits already committed to AU. Bama people are very confident also which usually never boDEs well for in state kids. We need an everydown back like DP or MT (please come on an official during the season)..... to go along with Asa should we get him. I don't believe he has made up his mind yet.

Loaded I wouldn't say. We are set for this year. If Bubba leaves we have one back Malik that can carry the load of 20 plus times a game. That is unless DB fills the role.

Tre is shorter and runs alot lower to the ground than DB.

He can but needs 30 lbs. Or 20 at least. He is 180 or I have heard he has out a little on so I will say 185. If he adds the weight and shows he can be then our philosophy might change on needing an every down back this cycle. Teague would have been the perfect fit for what we need this year. Now Barrett is one of the guys who if he played at a higher class of football in Florida could have been a 5 star or higher than he was rated if he performed the same IMO. NCM I know was once the top player in the country at one time from the same school but he had size speed and the catching ability to show that he would dominate anywhere he played. I believe they play 3A at Tampa Catholic in Florida somebody correct me of I'm wrong. That's certainly not scrubs would be about like 5A in alabama. Tre and Bubba both have every down back ability I am talking about. Will hit the hole and hit a lb head on of needed to get the extra yard. DB has a great running style fit wise for the offense doesn't dance around makes a cut and hits the hole. We will see if he is willing to take on those SEC lb head on to get the yards needed.

If KP leaves we will only have Malik Miller who could fill that role who I should mention is gone be a good one. We would take Asa and still go after someone like a Pierce or Teague if he was to show interest in flipping.

Harris actually committed Saturday as did Sherwood. We will have a big week. I am with E though a silent commit really means nothing if they don't want to become public. We have set up for a big week in recruiting though.

I know that's why I said had he made the cookout today he would have committed. A drive from USC East to Auburn is not a fun or easy drive. USC East has def put up a fight. He would have committed today if he would have come imo.

I wouldn't say that yet. He was expected to be committed to us before the summer was out and I still expect that. Even if he waits he will dign with AU. Had he made the cookout today he would have committed imo. USC East and bama have him thinking but kid is a lifelong Auburn fan. South Carolina has him thinking with the play early aspect and he has family that likes South Carolina I believe.

We are in a pretty good spot when the #2 or 2nd best qb we sign this year has Cam Newton potential in the future. Fields is ready now but like I have said in the past and the qb gurus are saying JG has unlimited potential. It took cam 3 years and when he got to Blinn things started to click. When he got to Auburn took him until the USC East game to turn into the best player in the country. JG will need time to develope. JF is ready now.
