  1. This. We should finish top 10 for sure and maybe even top 5 if we play on the field like I expect we will this year.
  2. We really needed to get Monday on board early. Maybe we could have kept him from camping at Clemson who is his dream school apparently. WE really need a stud S in this class with all that we are losing after this season. It is not over just yet but the feeling around the program is not nearly as confident about landing Monday who was a lock before the Clemson offer. We were very close to getting him to commit a few times. . This was another kid that was underrated although he was a 4 star. I expect his ranking will climb throughout the summer.
  3. I agree on Jackson. ALso with the statement we have not missed out on anyone of our top targets at wr. Ross is our top target followed by Matthew Hill. We will get Hill and Ross our coaches seem confident. I have seen this before with a kid bama wants bad though with a kid who lives close and visits a lot and our coaches were almost certain and actually received a reaffirmed silent the day before he signed with bama on signing day. This certain kid who I believe everyone knows who I am talking about a certain former players son gave us a silent and reaffirmed this to our coaches the night before signing with bama. The wildcard with Ross is his mom though because she will have a big influence and she seems to love Auburn after she visited after she returned home. Bama is very confident, but our coaches are also so we will see. This usually doesn't work out well for us. Hopefully we will get Ross, Hill, and Jackson. Hill and Jackson are very likely with Jackson being a lock. Speaking of Ross it is a very good thing he plans on waiting this out before making a decision. This gives him a chance to see our offense this year under CL which will really help us out imo.
  4. ALso was as tough as they come. Would always deliver the blow. It actually cost him due to his size on many occasions. Just from the standpoint of my favorite rbs Kenny would be at top. He could showboat some but I loved the way he got under opponents skin and was a big time competitor. I remember the Washington State game in 2006 I believe after we had a ton of pre season hype when Kenny caught that pass for a td and did the little dance towards the end zone. TT was not happy but that was Kenny being Kenny. I think Caddy had more overall talent but If I had to take a rb in the last 25 years Kenny would probably ne my top pick. Then the promise at LSU of 200 which I don't like mentioning because we lost because of a field goal kicker.
  5. Kenny is one of my personal favorites also. I am too young to have seen Fullwood. If I had to say in my life time it goes by rank Caddy Kenny Tre
  6. Speaking of lbs we have a stud coming out of Auburn High next year. Hopefully we are able to buck the recent trend with Foster and Evans. We are in good shape with him atm.
  7. I think we win out with this one. This is just my opinion. He loves Auburn and mom wants him at Auburn. We just have to overcome the childhood favorite. OSU has guys higher on the board like E said. A lb class of Harris, RJ, ZM, will be stellar. Also don't count out Walker just yet from what I have heard even though he committed to bama.. Lets let the season play out and I think it will sway a lot of these kids who ha AU #2 our way. Big Cat and Coach could help us in the end with QW. JJ Peterson speaking of lbs loves Auburn and Travis, however we have a couple of things working against us. One is Alabama has been a top flight lb school for nearly a decade now and Peterson is big on being able to get to the NFL. ALso Propst will not do us any favors with his former DC at Hoover Pruitt the current DC at Bama. Propst is a friend of CL who use to coach at Spain Park, but Pruitt and RP are very close.
  8. Teague or Pierce are much better fits for our system IMO. Asa is a very good running back, but I don't believe he fits our system as well as DP or MT. He does not fit Bama either. If he goes to Bama he will never see any significant PT at rb.
  9. How much golf lol. I will and have already bet Auburn covers the 2.5 easily.
  10. This. Stidham will easily be our starting qb next year. I would also go out on a limb and say that he will be the best qb in the SEC next year.
  11. It's going to be AU or A&M. One advantage A&M has is they are starting a grad transfer qb which gives him a better shot at being the starter day 1. Imo he will have to win the job at AU from either SW or JF3 after we have a good possibly great season. I think Stidham is capable of beating both out though and he is an absolute perfect fit for our offense.
  12. I will answer this question. IMO the KS hire will work out very good for us. The staff was divided with Muschamp here. We needed unity from our staff that has carried over to our team as a whole. Make no mistake either Steele knows how to coach defense. There is a reason Saban has hired him so many times.
  13. I see NCM, Stove, and Davis all getting alot of playing time this year. Imo all 3 get more playing time than the guys currently in front of them by the time the season is over. NCM and Stove will both see alot of PT vs Clemson.
  14. Oh definitely after the season I figured that would me implied that's a given. We have a chance to be a very good team this year if we can get good qb play.
  15. This would be pure speculation on my part as to when. That being said I imagine that we will want the new oc who imo will be KB on the staff by the time the big recruiting weekends roll around in January.
  16. As Bird said this is going to be a mutual parting of ways. CGM is wanting RL to be looking elsewhere and Rhett is open to leave AU now. I am not saying CGM is telling CRL to look elsewhere but the feeling is mutual.
  17. SW needs to fix his problem throwing interceptions before we can compare him to a Heisman trophy candidate. I agree with Bird on he has the potential to be a qb in the same mold as BM though.
  18. As long as Gus is still here KB will be here next year. I am not sure how good of a coach he is but I know our coaches think very highly of him and Bird who has met him and knows coaching says he is very good so I will defer to them.
  19. Yeah agreed. Stove looks like he will definitely make an impact this year.
  20. This looks pretty spot on. I would give KP a little more credit, I think he has a chance to be good. Him and KJ could be a hell of a duo.
  21. Neither qb looked good today. But if u added in JF3 running I would definitely have him starting judging just from today's scrimmage. JJ did not play in the scrimmage today. Our defense looks very good though imo
