Overall I was surprised how smoothly the offensive process worked, considering the short week. I expected to see delays in getting plays called and problems with having the right personnel in place, etc.

That makes a lot of sense. I expected a big improvement this year out of the OL and OL recruiting because of Friend, and was extremely disappointed in both. I was surprised Friend's name wasn't on the list of those let go, but this will be his opportunity to prove me, and a lot of others, wrong about him.

Is Kendall Simmons still around? What about Cole Cubelic? Is he too busy? Surely Friend was supposed to be on that list too, right?

What about "with a Friend like that who needs an OL?"

MMW: AU does better than most expect but not as good as we hope, 7-5, 4th in west. Bryan Harsin still has his job at then end of the season, if he still wants it. bama loses at knoxville but still wins the west. No SEC teams go undefeated, and uga loses 2. During the season AU makes a temporary QB change, but not because of performance. Not a big deal because they had been using 2 QBs a lot anyway. AU plays in several soggy games this year, and sees snow in one.

I thought about going with GA state too, but I "chickened" out in the end. LOL I missed this last year too. Thanks to WarTiger (I think?) for keeping it going for so long, and to Auctoritas for picking it up! I can only imagine the work and patience that goes into running it and putting up with us.
