I can remember the last time an Auburn offense had an offensive identity. It’s literally been years since they’ve had a successful, productive identity on offense. We’ve been lost in the wilderness even though we’ve been through 2 HC’s and at least half a dozen OC’s.

I was apathetic to Gus’ last years because that was pure mediocrity. This Harsin crap is just pure pathetic and disgustingly bad football any way you look at it.

I’d be shocked if he stayed knowing the oline will be a total rebuild, a whole new coaching staff, etc. He could be a feature back at a proven program that contends for championships and he could showcase his skills with 4-5* support on a roster.

IF we’re already willing and understanding it could take the next coach 2 yrs here, then I’m ready to cut this crew loose, name an interim and get after a committee to crank up the interviews. I don’t like there being 5 other teams in the market to a HC, GATech is the only southern team but there will surely be more competition as the season progresses.

Hopefully the next HC will accept a tremendous incentive based contract. Forgive me for being doubtful, but the next HC contract will be worse than Harsin’s because Auburn is thought to be impatient and if they’ll cut a HC in 2 yrs or less, that’ll make the next guy want a rock solid guaranteed contract. M

People saying there aren’t any big name proven candidates to be had this time, makes me wonder what that means? In other words….. The last couple of yrs there was Christabol from Oregon to Miami, Lincoln Riley from OU to USC, Kelly from ND to LSU. Why can’t Auburn go big this time and pull a proven HC with P5 experience from Baylor or Cinncinatti, Ole Miss, etc?

Good, experienced coaches that are coaching a winning team (which should be the absolute minimum of what AU is seeking) will work out their season before they pull up roots and jump to another job. Auburn should be canvassing candidates right now and make a strong push to make contact immediately after CBH is terminated.

I heard that, IMO Dad should’ve never said a word and Zack is an ass for even bringing him on the show. Dad sounded like he was blaming the coaches for crappy playcalling, the olinemen for their crappy execution, etc. He admitted his son could’ve made better decisions, but never addressed TJs INT’s. Just a bad interview from an aggravated parent of a player and neither helps TJ or AUBURN right now.

Good Lord! High school locker rooms at 6A schools in Alabama are 10 times nicer than that.
