If that's your problem you're mad at the wrong coach...

That was because we had Nick Marshal in 2014, not because Gus may or may not have micromanaged. We've all seen what micromanaging has gotten us the last two years. He needs to let the coaches he hired do their jobs, so he can do better at his.

I haven't seen a thread get this personal and hateful since...ever. You'd think we hired Bobby Petrino or something. I hope Chip works out. I have hope, but I'll reserve judgement til December.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought we were going all in for Narcisse first, then once he committed to LSU, we went guns a blazin' after JS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that at least seemed to be the message board timetable

I hope JS and JG are right. I wasn't referring to his qb coaching as much as I was the offensive product lately. According to this board last year, we sucked because Rhett was calling the plays and Gus needed to take over. Now this year Gus is basically an idiot and Rhett was given the keys, and the only reason our offense doesn't hum is because Gus meddles. I don't know who deserves the blame anymore for some of the stuff we're treated to, but I don't know that I want any possible coach learning from the guy that thinks 3 Cox-cats in one game is a good idea. That was mainly my facetious point.

I don't know that learning from Gus and Rhett is much of a selling point IMO

First it was who's better: Sean or JJ. Now it Sean vs Stidham? After this kid graduates it'll possibly be "Yeah, Stidham and Gatewood are awesome...but how would Sean White compare?" This is the bottom line: Sean is a very skilled qb but lacks accuracy on the deep ball and apparently durability. He can be very efficient (you don't lead the SEC in completion percentage if you're not a good QB....VIPER), but needs work on his mechanics. The fact of the matter is if Stidham is accurate (especially on the deep ball), can run faster, and hold up longer, he will be an upgrade to Sean. But that does not mean Sean is a bad QB
