The iron bowl is usually always a strange game, talent gets thrown out the window for that game. Auburn treats that game like a Super Bowl. The next game after the iron bowl with a break they came out and played arguably their worst game of the year. Freeze is a good salesman but as coaching is concerned im more on the pessimistic side right now

After that embarrassing loss to NMSU and Maryland in the bowl game I’m not taking any game for granted

A better QB

He just said in his post why he’s down on him. He said he doesn’t like his accuracy and could be a problem for him, that’s a fair criticism. But he’s only a freshman and has plenty of time to improve

He never said he didn’t want to go to Auburn, he just asked for his fathers opinion and his dad wrote down on a piece of paper that said “Auburn” and Cam went with that decision

Damn we should be thankful for Cam’s dad. Cam said he didn’t even pick Auburn, his dad did and Cam just went with his decision. Also us having 22 upcoming seniors was a big decision for him picking Auburn

Yeah this is the biggest thing. When Caddy left that pretty much guaranteed we weren’t getting his commitment. AU should still talk to him, I feel like this isn’t over yet

It’s been pretty accurate most springs tbh. I knew somebody was gone bring up the Cam year but that year was an anomaly. Spring ball ain’t that serious but usually you can kinda tell how you’re going to look during the season

The biggest is going to be the DL, there’s talent but there’s no depth and it’s a lot of young guys. This is going to be another rough season, Freeze should probably just play a lot of the young guys this year and just throw them in the deep end and see which ones swim Also I hope HB really pushes for that QB1 spot, make that QB room as competitive as possible

He could but he has to be healthy and he has to actually stay at Auburn. With the way college sports is now nobody stays around anymore

The SEC wasn’t elite at all last year, mediocre QB play all around the league. The Pac 12 was playing the best football last year

In the right context that list is pretty fair. The SEC is tough but it’s not like the Pac 12 and big 12 were playing complete nobodies. I’d probably flip Drinkwitz and Heupel personally

At this point I don’t get excited about recruits until they sign their NLI. And it looks like a lot of people share that same opinion before NIL took over a 4 star OT commit thread would be filled with posts. Dice’s commit thread barely has any posts in it at all smh

It definitely is. Some people trying to make this an Auburn vs. Alabama thing and that ain’t it. ESPN would love to show Auburn’s spring game but Auburn’s doing its own thing for better or worse

6-6 if we somehow have decent QB play this year then maybe 8-4

Man the DL needs help. There’s a lot of promise/potential but barely any experience. The coaches have to hit the portal for some experience for the next portal opening
