  1. That type of hyperbole is a weak look for him. He could go to Wallace State or Valdosta State and get back into sport for the sport - if that's what saint saban stood for. No, he believed in a playing field so sloped to his side, it is a wonder anyone could stand up straight. Baby doesn't have better toys than his neighbors and decided to quit; now wants to go cry about it. Yeah, he was one of the nuclear powers. Now he whines about proliferation. Weak.
  2. Yeah. I'm an alum and have a kid there now. I'm principally concerned with academic standing of the institution. Sports is ancillary. My experience with going to annual or bi-annual out-of-conference games with my nosebleed view doesn't incentivize me to donate to recruiting. Fatigue is the best characterization of hearing about all the currency liberally changing hands and me otherwise expected to pay fees for any and every aspect of spectatorship on campus or from my living room. So, I too am about to turn off the my virtually-insignificant monthly NIL.
  3. Thanks for posting this. I had not seen it. I was lucky to have grown up with close family members saying and living very similar sentiments and ethics, pretty much in the identical accent and colloquialisms as Coach Dye. Yeah, most of the time fulfillment and achievement come down to really simple principles. And he could not have shot any straighter about normalized thievery in politics than he did. Terminal disease in government. A great leader is trustworthy, genuine, and inspirational. Doesn't have to be infallible. Coach Dye was a great leader and a hell of a human being.
  4. Glad you are on the mend @Mims44! Hoping you are back 150% as soon as the paint dries.
  5. Could only be worse if the $70 was only a 1 year subscription, after which it and all your data disappear. In my day, everything didn't absolutely suck!
  6. Hoping you have a great outcome and speedy recovery as well.
  7. Love. Looking forward to your kick six recovery. Need you back before the next meltdown.
  8. Shhhhhhhh. Need to keep District13, I mean Huntsville, on the down low. It's full. Nobody needs to move there. It's actually across the DMZ from Alabama.
  9. We're less than .066 fortnights from tipoff! I'll be ecstatic with a 1 point win at this point.
  10. In the cumulative 10 minutes I watched, i saw two pivotal KC plays. The network immediately showed the celebrities about 1 second each time, with no commentary. Therefore, it was obvious that ... well. The PTB! DaytooKaarjobs!!
  11. Close game decided mostly by skill and strategy - yay. All that capital and marketing. Priorities. Yikes!
  12. Oh. Who won the irrelevant bowl?🥣
  13. Who is this swift? Someone rival to the conecuh empire? If not, he or she is inconsequential.
  14. We've discovered a first-of-its-kind material in which quantum correlations and the geometry of the crystal structure combine to frustrate the movement of electrons and lock them in place. Not advertised at the super bowl. But much more consequential. Obviously, I'm a swiftie.
  15. Best players/teams, not. Avoid. Watch.
  16. Don’t watch the regular season. Yep, a regular season, playoff, or championship. Superbowl is exactly what they are not.
  17. Avoiding violence. They’re not stoopid. Yep, wish i’d been born in a permafrost region and grown up playing hockey in the backyard. Great ethic in that culture.
  18. Oh look, there’s some celebrity who preaches ‘save the environment’ but jets to the zippy mart. Back to reading books. Hope san fran wins.
  19. Yup. I’m not good. kid is a great goalie and decent player. If the world was populated by hockey skaters, all would be good. The BEST community in the world. srsly, you run into a hockey player and need anything, they’ll do anything’s in their power.
  20. Yup. As far as x’s and o’s, it is decent. Never as exciting as NHL. NFL should get over themselves.
