  1. A'ight. We're set up good now. Great showing. Has to be good for our brand. The future is bright. Good game. War Eagle.
  2. It's so good that Freeze doesn't need to chat with players when they come out from a rotation - coach 'em up an' all. Glad he can do that in the locker room or during the week. He obviously is into that book-on-tape he has going.
  3. Brown spread'n it around. Does UM have it's 3rd string in now. Significantly better rhythm than the previous 55 minutes.
  4. CRAP. Hank didn't read the memo. He's not a team player. What's he thinking??
  5. He did at least once with no rush at all, and he threw to a different zip code.
  6. if he just had more than 8 seconds to throw a pass, then it would be on the mark.
  7. But we won the hot chicken eating competition. So, we can hold our heads high.
  8. Gotta win this one on trick plays. Where's the TE pirouette?
  9. Glad Auburn showed up to watch Maryland play. Hope they are having fun. They are not participating.
  10. Excuse with some validity - a lot of players had cold and flu, and were several severely-limited on practice. But, Gaaaaa! This level of suck when suddenly on a stage is just typical (last decade). Sickening.
  11. Was it yet another 'bama player complaining about catching monkeypox??
  12. A modest proposal: FSU (and uga) should just head for the tunnel immediately after kickoff (*cough* could be COVID, gotta stay safe). No need to risk injury/careers by playing a superfluous 59 minutes when the outcome is 100% certain and the game means nothing anyway. Who is going to object to player safety? bspn can then run reruns of Wizards of Waverly Place for the balance of the air time - just as meaningful. Win/win! Teams got their extra practice, trip, and swag. An hour of pregame promotion and 6 seconds of gameplay. Players stay safe and the most important thing, endless conjecture and controversy on how the game would have played out (mind-you: the result was already known). That is what MATTERS in college football - buzz, conjecture, betting, merchandizing, and constant influencing to maximize them. The game (which we are trying to shrink to 22 minutes in lieu of more advertising) is a constant annoyance, especially if it is not a marquee matchup or if a dark horse has a chance of upsetting a blue blood. Embrace it. Hallelujah, where's the tylenol.
  13. I have no love for FSU, to the contrary. But while it is them this year, it will happen again and again and likely Auburn at some point. Since we know who will beat whom and, therefore, who should and should not not be in a playoff, there are no more upsets (you just imagined NMSU v Auburn, FSU v LSU). With most of the NCAAF league and their records irrelevant, why tune-in at all? So on-field competition is unnecessary. It would seem the CFP does not need to be played as there is already a consensus on how it will unfold. So let's cancel those games, give each team a fair stipend. Crown Alabama and save a lot of time through the holidays. That seems consistent with the NCAA system. It's more important that the consensus prediction be validated than for the teams to play out earned tournaments.
  14. Great Value Consolation Bowl. Doesn’t come with any prestige, embarrassment if your friends see you there, cheap, low expectations, and a good chance it’s expired, spoiled, or mislabeled.
