The 6 drops was a but much bc half of them were elite defensive plays where the defenders punched out the balls. Yes, we had drops this year. We didn't have good WR play. We are in the process of replacing the entire room, right? They deserve criticism. We also had awful QB play, regardless of drops. We had Thorne miss wide open WRs as many times as we had drops. We had him over throw wide open guys too. They all deserve being replaced. I'm equal in my judgement.

Hopefully we light it up on the Bowl game and HG get a full quarter and does well. Might help quells some angst. Also might help with Ryan Williams. Our WR room should help attracking some quality QBs next December. Think we'll be hunting for a 2 year guy and should be loaded thicc with a lot of Soph/Jr talent in 2025 with possibly a solid home schedule (who knows what the SEC does tho)

It's pretty inline with a lot of elite WRs. Outside Julio, year 1 is probably like ~300yds then they explode on year two. Nabers, Burton, Stewart, Pickens..... Trusting TrFr is risky. GSU kid seems like a solid possession guy who has good YAC. Crossing patterns, screens, etc.

Seems odd we're getting some reports that 50% of Thornes passes were "bad" b/c a WR ran the wrong route. So we're going to expect 4-5 TrFr WRs to come in (many after spring) and learn a heavily read based offense and run the proper routes that all of our 4-5th year players couldn't?

Agree on all except Arkansas. We *should* be able to count wins against the 4 OOC teams, Vandy and Arkansas. Every other team we're probably less talented than. A&M will be interesting. They'll be better coaches and still have solid talent. Remember, it's been proven that Hugh historically loses to a team that he's a large favorite in, so we probably get blown out by Cal. What's more...ppl want to throw out class rankings but then forget that essentially 0 recruits are left from the 20, 21, 22 classes. They are a black hole. We have talented 1st and 2nd year players then stop gaps transfers duct taping the roster together.
