Let's ignore who we lost to. God help us if Thorne throws for 200 yards. The optimism will be off the charts
-
Ha. That's a tad bullish. 6 teams on our schedule are more talented than our roster
-
They also beat Texas, possibly have an elite QB, and didn't lose to New Mexico State vs trying to pull the transitive property of an opponents loss two times removed.
-
I agree it lays our pretty evenly for us.
-
They have a lot of their team coming back. Will have a top tier QB and one of if not yhe best WR in the SEC. Just got a really good RB too in the portal. They should be good next year and we'll be a 7-10pt dog vs them before the season
-
That's much easier
-
A&M will be interesting. But first year coach and they lost a lot....but still have talent

So many moving variables. Will we have a good QB? Will our young WRs contribute quickly or will we do a better job evaluating portal WRs who can contribute? Will we have any SEC Level offensive tackles on our roster? Will we have any SEC level DTs on our roster? Will Hugh Freeze take over the offense or just take credit during weeks we aren't terrible? Those are massive TBDs right now. I think 9 wins is our ceiling and that's being pretty generous. I think vegas sets or o/u at 7 wins. I feel like that is where we land. 7-5. Hopes of 8-4. Auto losses to Bama & UGA. Probably going to lose at least one at Kentucky or at Mizzou or Oklahoma.

SEC Wide Receivers and Tight Ends (2019-2023)

He was awful vs any decent team we played. He was below average to average vs any non-decent team we played. Lines up with his Mich St record that @DAGoften points to -
SEC Wide Receivers and Tight Ends (2019-2023)

That's essentially what his season average was. 135. That's 11th out of 14 teams. Why is being essentially dead last and lumped in with Vandy, Miss State, and Arkansas horrid QB play a "reason for optimism"? -

SEC Wide Receivers and Tight Ends (2019-2023)

Murderous defensive stretch of Ole Miss, Miss St, Vandy, Arkansas, Bama We're hyping a guy with a 61% comp, 155yds per game, and a 11/5 TD to INT ratio. That's 4 horrendous defenses and 1 good one. That's what we want to hang our hats on. -

Yeah he totally killed it vs 3 teams that didn't go to a bowl game where he average 145ypg, then lit it up vs New Mexico St and Bama. -
These should be RS FR He'll be a RS Soph
-
Never get recruited by Bryan Harsin ❌💀❌ 💀❌ 💀❌
-
The staff can spend 1hr at a school and be working on a jet too and from to help secure the best offensive or overall player in the state in over a 3-4 year period. They'll be fine.
-
Yeah. Thoughts & Prayers essentially for our QB room
-
Will be be another G5 guy who can't separate or will Thorne be unable to find him wide open. Either way we blame the WRs b/c they don't have grit!!!!
-
Thorne is a more effective runner. Robby is a better athlete, but has poor vision and doesn't seem to have a ton of agility. Unless he has a clear massive hole where he can run straight through he's pretty ineffective
-
Same in NFL or pro sports pretending to be aghast during big free agent deals
-
At some point someone else's trash is our treasure.
-
There isn't a QB on on roster we should fear losing Let em all leave
-
What agility or running vision does RA really have? He constantly misses running lanes/holes and runs into the back of defenders constantly. He's fast, but that's about it. I'm not sure he has the agility/quick cut ability to be a WR
